We Gen Boarders (especially the oldbies) have a friendly (or not so friendly) rivalry going with the newer Playground board. It is a place of fluff and flirting, while we often play a bit harder ball.

Also, Playground members are famous for their ten foot rainbow colored sig lines. Blech.

I think that I understood about half of it. I will explain to the best of my knowledge Basically what he is saying is that they have a rivalry going on with the people that post in the playground. They are not as "hard core" as we are. The sig line thing was he was just talking about their signature lines and how they are really big and really colorful and take a very very long time for your somputer to display which in turn causes you to have to wait ages...

The General Board (which you are currently in) was the first message board on Literotica and encompasses a wide range of subjects. Over here, we discuss everything from politics to religion to pubic hair removal. In general, the tone is intellectual/sarcastic/serious.

The Playground is a relatively recent forum added on to the Personals section of Literotica. Over there, the threads are generally chatty and flirty.

The inhabitants of the general board view the inhabitants of the Playground as a bunch of airheads, and the playgrounders view the gen boarders as negative misanthropes. There is some hostility.

A sig line is what you currently see below my post (the Spanish phrase). Members of the Playground are notorious for filling up this space with all kinds of graphics and colors that the Gen Boarders find highly ridiculous.

Stick around. Tonight the Gen board is a bit on the fluffy side. We tend to go through slow periods followed by volatile explosions. Just wait, in a few days, there will be a 20 page thread that starts out as a serious discussion concerning Iraq/abortion/religion/pubic hair and ends in a flurry of name-calling, accusation and insult-slinging, members changing their names or leaving the board, heart-felt apologies, and a slow return to normality.

Sounds like Pyper put me in my place as far as my explanation goes...Of course, I am a very new newbie so I was just trying to make an intelligent guess. I just starting posting (like REALLY posting) last night.
