yay and stuff. thank god for self setting clocks.

also, insert bitching about the fact that we only use standard time for a third of the year here.

Stupid daylight is the worst kind of daylight. Not worth saving really.

well, it's all stupid, yo. fuck, it's not even sentient. fucking dumbass stars blasting their heat and light and gravity everywhere 'cause they don't know no better.

I just keep all the lights on in my house at all times so I don't waste outdoor sunlight to light my house.

Daylight saving time is almost over here.
Soon, I'll be waking in the dark again.
Personally, I think daylight saving should be done in winter - we need it more then.

I say this every six months, but:

Why not just change it half an hour, once.

also, atomic clocks. those are the shit. the only clock i have to reset is my alarm clock.

Anything that's connected to a network will self adjust. Whatever you're using to access Lit will. My car, phone, computers and cable box do. Nothing else does.
Even the sun knows to come up an hour later!

Technology is so advanced these days.

Years ago I had this digital watch and DST came along and I couldn't figure out how to change the time on the watch. None of the buttons seemed to actually change the time and of course the instructions were thrown away the day I got the watch. I finally went into town and bought a new watch. I'm sure there was an easier way of doing things but I was at that point of frustration where reason and common sense just didn't exist.

Couldn't you just take the battery out for an hour?

The only thing I own that auto-changes is my phone.
Everything else I have to manually click buttons to deactivate daylight saving time.
And all my clocks in the house are old style, so I have to move the hands.
