"Friendly reminder that when the actor who played Khal Drogo met the actress who plays daenerys he shouted “WIFEY!” and tackled her"

"Also reminder that during one of the sex scenes they were supposed to film, he came on with a sock puppet on his dick and Emilia Clarke was laughing so hard they had to take a ten minute break."

"At the Q&A panel I went to with him he said before every sex scene with her he would go “I’M SORRY I’M SORRY I’M SORRY I’M SORRY” before getting into character and going at it."

Nicolaj Costerau, who plays Jamie, addressing Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne:

Gwendoline: Welcome to Twitter and the modern age at last.

Nicolaj: Thank you. Any tips on how to tweet. Is this public or private?

Gwendoline: Private.

That would be very cool. I would like to see Targaryan dragon riders and watch the dread fort melt.
isn't it time someone made the Pern series into films?

I would LOVE to see that.

Ship Who Sang also...

I love those books so very, very much, my favorite people being Menolly and Sallah Telgar.

I've been checking because I do have all the books, but audio and Kindle availability of my favorites is being hung up.

I'm looking for Roger Zelazny's "Lord of Light" which is probably one of my favorites and nobody knows about it...

And all of her stuff. No luck on Ship Who Sang, which was my other favorite series of hers, Niall and Helva and all that good stuff, including music.

The Harpers were my favorite in the dragon series.

*nods re the Harpers*

A lot of people are. I do still have a lot of books...let's say 5 huge bookcases that house books I absolutely not give away when we moved. I donated probably 20 big boxes of them.

If I were let loose on book lust I'd have no money and no storage.

I definitely still have all my original McCaffrey paperbacks and my Lord of Light, along with my other beloved family, but new friends I must meet virtually.

I read and re-read and re-reread books I love to the point that they fall apart.

Lord of Light I remember thinking "That was AWESOME" and turning immediately back to the first page, probably read it through 4 times in a row...

i kind of revisit favourites every few years, like LOTR and stephen king's/terry pratchett's - gonna be hard leaving them all behind; already sold my TP's. the cost would be stupid to ship them and H has masses of books, plus i can always pick them up again stateside if i'm desperate. gotta take some of my ancient poetry books tho. i'll sneak 'em in with my clothes

LOTR is the oldest recurrent book in my cycle now. I have switched to audio books and Ulaven had to pirate a copy of the Silmarillion to be able to listen to it.

Harry Potter by Steven Fry.

Game of Thrones by Roy Dotrice.

Terry Pratchett by various. Favorite is Nigel Planer but he doesn't do all of them.

Nicholas Boulton narrating everything Laura Kinsale has written.

Windflower by who the fuck cares, it's Windflower...my favorite book ever, just came out this last year on Kindle and Audio - Tom and Sharon Curtis, most likely the most read book ever. When I listened to the audio version, I realized I had it memorized essentially.

Lost Boys by Orson Scott Card, when I have about 6 hours to cry after.

Thomas Harris's books, one of which he narrates himself.

I thought she was just into one guy.

She's been written out of the show, essentially, the Greyjoys are gone.

No Damphair, either.

Which is funny because Roy Dotrice says "Damfair" when it's clearly "damp hair"

Seriously, guys.

Ahh ok. Well damp hair did vanish for like a book and a half or 2 books. I should catch up on the show
