Stuck in pending

I've had a story stuck in pending for over 2 weeks now. The first 5 parts sailed through, but the 6th chapter is stuck. I came here and read similar threads and have tried to make contact through online form and have also messaged Laurel directly. Nothing has worked, and I've not had any response. In terms of content, there's nothing in the chapter that comes close to breaching guidelines.

Does anyone have any further suggestions? If I can't can't get a response and can't progress with story, then I think I'll just request that all chapters are removed entirely.

I've had a story "stuck" for four weeks, and also one that was released overnight. Laurel doesn't release them in any order anyone has ever figured out. If you can't stand that, well, that's up to you.

Well, if I know it's going to be published at some point, that's fine. But If it's just going to be suck in pending forever, obviously that's not fine and I can't progress with story.

This isn’t happening because of content problems.

It has just been very slow lately. Approval/publishing times of as long as four weeks have been reported.

If your story had been rejected, you would have been notified. Rejection doesn’t result in pending-forever.

Surely you can keep on writing, while you patiently wait to get your story published?

The April Fools contest has just closed, submissions always slow during contests.

Right, got it. Fair enough. By chance, when looking at that particular chapter again, I actually just realised I'd submitted an earlier draft by mistake. Damn it. So I'll need to amend and submit again anyway, which will take even longer. Oh well, maybe the delay was fortuitous in the end.

Oh, sure, I've been writing still. My concern was about submitting later chapters if this one was stuck in pending. But that doesn't matter now as I just realised I submitted an earlier draft by mistake when I copied and pasted, so I'll have to resubmit that chapter anyway and set the clock back.
