The Badass girl give everyone around her some degree of shit, due to her arrogance. May not be much, but it's enough to fit in with her badass 'persona'. It has managed to piss off a few people, most just shrug it off and ignore her.

Now, Badass girl hits a problem that requires an expensive technical fix, or a local nerd to help her with. The local nerd is one of those folks she has pissed off.
