Recently I've found myself with unusually high stress levels and I my palms keep getting itchy - what the hell purpose does THAT serve I'd like to know. They don't even come WHILE I'm feeling stressed, I'll just be sitting there and all of a sudden my palms are red and ITCHY...I can't see anything and I can't feel anything other then heat. Anyone get this? Do you get other symptoms of stress? What do you do to get rid of them?

when I get really stressed, my tongue swells, I lose my appetite, and I cant sleep. and that's not to mention that I grind my teeth. it's an odd combination to say the least. I got a mouthpiece from my dentist for the teeth grinding thing, but it doesnt do much good with part of my tongue laying in between my teeth (it doesnt fit well wtih my tongue in the way). not much I can do but trudge through everything and hope it all gets better fast.

Are you sure it's stress that's causing your palms to itch and not some sort of allergen? That said, it could very well be the stress. I break out in eczema when I'm stressed and my stomach just churns and churns. I'm always afraid I'll end up with an ulcer someday I'm in so much pain!

insomnia, headaches, loss of appetite and an urge to piledrive some poor soul

I try not to let stress get beyond me acting stranger than i already am.

WORD! You have to learn how to relax. First you have to do
everything within reason to take care what is causing you the stress.

Yes, I'm sure - I asked my doc.

The odd thing is that my NORMAL "stress routine" would be headaches, muscle fatigue and cotton mouth - an odd combination, but I haven't had any of those.

Though after hearing yours, I'm thinking the itchy palms aren't so bad. *wink* I wish you a stress free March!

Everything's cool now though....right? *grin*

stress

It makes my period late and I break out in zits.

I love that band... great song, it never fails to make me feel better.

First off:

Secondly: When I feel extra stress, I get sever stomach pains and even the occasional quick, sharp pain in the chest. The first time that happened, I thought I was having a heart attack. Since then, it's only manifested itself in extreme times, but it's still pretty nasty.

:rose: :rose: :rose: for you to help relieve some stress.

(Sorry I can't provide a man. ;) )

I get tics, mostly facial. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true.

What do I do? Usually go for a drive, do some very mild food shopping (for some reason it relaxes me). My main causes of stress are roommates and the university, so getting away from both for awhile helps.
