The International banks do not have your back.
They are looking to take a chunk out of your back-

Listening to a tale about a successful Republican business man-
His family sold their furniture business in 1996
He made oodles of cash helping move jobs out of America and into China.
2012- Chinese people want to get paid for work that they do.
Shipping costs are through the roof. The yuan is rising.
He went home to exploit his old employees, that he threw in the trash.
He asked for help with cash flow, up and down the East coast.
The Big Name banks all turned him down.
His home town bank is willing to help.
A job is a job. American made is American made.

Lincolnton business owner among those White House hails for U.S. job creation.

Cochrane has invested $5 million and is hiring 130 workers to build middle- to higher-priced solid wood furniture
in the same sprawling Lincolnton warehouse that his family once ran.

Obama shared Cochrane's family story of selling the business and then watching jobs go overseas.
Cochrane then went overseas himself to work as a consultant for American furniture makers.

Cochrane admits he didn't vote for Obama nor did he expect much from the trip to Washington. But he said
he was surprised by the level of assistance being offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration as well
as potential incentives that could help other businesses.

"I thought it was going to be a waste of time and waste of money, but I was very satisfied
with the engagement of the administration and the staff.

Obama said his administration would introduce new tax proposals that reward companies that
bring jobs home and eliminate tax breaks for companies that are moving jobs overseas.

Punished for the sin of telling the truth- Cut off from space work, shunned by colleagues and managers.

Punished for caring- headaches, double-vision and depression. Ruined family life, ruined community life.

Punished for a good work ethic- cancer in his colon, kidneys and liver.

Punishment for being a good person- watching the senior NASA management getting shielded from any accountability

A Sad Anniversary

The death of Spc. Alyssa Peterson

Spc. Alyssa Peterson , 27, a Flagstaff, Ariz., native, served with C Company, 311th Military Intelligence BN,
101st Airborne. She was a valuable Arabic-speaking interrogator assigned to the prison at our air base in
troubled Tal Afar in northwestern Iraq.

According to official records, she died on September 15, 2003, from a "non-hostile weapons discharge."

Kevin Elston, not satisfied with the public story, decided to probe deeper in 2005, "just on a hunch," he told me in late 2006.
He made "hundreds of phone calls" to the military and couldn't get anywhere, so he filed a Freedom of Information Act [FOIA]
request. When the documents of the official investigation of her death arrived, they contained bombshell revelations.

Here's what the Flagstaff public radio station, KNAU, where Elston worked, reported:

"Peterson objected to the interrogation techniques used on prisoners. She refused to participate
after only two nights working in the unit known as the cage. Army spokespersons for her unit have
refused to describe the interrogation techniques Alyssa objected to. They say all records of those
techniques have now been destroyed."

She was then assigned to the base gate, where she monitored Iraqi guards, and sent to suicide prevention training.
"But on the night of September 15th, 2003, Army investigators concluded she shot and killed herself with her
service rifle," the documents disclose.

The official probe of her death would later note that earlier she had been "reprimanded" for showing "empathy"
for the prisoners. One of the most moving parts of the report, in fact, is this: "She said that she did not know
how to be two people; she... could not be one person in the cage and another outside the wire."

I was a Brownie and a Girl Scout during the early 1960s. This was before Feminism. The USA was freaked out
about nuclear fallout. We had to learn about radiation sickness when we were little kids. That un-evolved mindset
from the "Duck and Cover" film did not last a minute. We learned where all the fallout shelters were, in our town.

We had to learn all the rules about air, water and food, and how to live in a fallout shelter. We learned about people
dying from radiation sickness, and what to do with the corpse. We had to learn first aid, to help injured people.

We were expected to be helpful and useful people. Our Scout leaders believed in all of us. We learned skills
and gained knowledge. It was not all grim training. We had fun learning about nature, and learning about
our community. I was proud of all the badges I had earned.

What do Republicans have against girls having a good time at summer camp?
It seems to be good enough for the boys. Learning about canoes, wild animals,
and trail hiking? Setting up a tent, making a campfire and living in the

If this man and woman had the wealth to make it possible, they would buy all the pink diamond mines in Australia.

A string of such diamonds, would look fine, strung across her cradle. Little pink stars for their darling girl, to gaze on.

I was feeling optimistic. People were eating less meat. More vegetarians in the world.

Women were getting more laws that were on their side. Abortion rights were secured.
It was possible for a woman to get a good education and a job that paid her well. Excellent contraception.
Rape clinics for victims and safe houses for battered women.
Corporations were forced to take responsibility. Good dental and good insurance were available.
Corporations were forced to let people have a family and a life. Pregnancy leave and childcare were available.
Sexually harassment was not acceptable. The good ol boy's club was forced to display some respect.
Many people had a raised consciousness about overpopulation of the Earth. Many people had a raised awareness about the environment.
Recycle was part of good citizenship. Many people liked natural fibers and fur wearing was on it's way out. Organic and cruelty free was available.
The word was out- if we kept up the effort, we could reverse the bad effects that would change our climate. The reefs would recover.
The rain forest would heal. All of the things that lived in the ocean would have a chance to bounce back. Ecological systems would stay in place.

The movement, called Quiverfull, is based on Psalm 127.

"If everyone starts having eight children or 12 children, imagine in three generations what we'll be able to do,' " Joyce says.
" 'We'll be able to take over both halls of Congress, we'll be able to reclaim sinful cities like San Francisco for the faithful, and
we'll be able to wage very effective massive boycotts against companies that are going against God's will.' "

Do you know what causes wars and conflicts? Hunger.

Every 3.6 seconds someone dies of hunger.
Every year 15 million children die of hunger.
One in twelve people worldwide is malnourished, including 160 million children under the age of five.
Nearly one in four people, 1.3 billion total, live on less than US$1 per day.
One out of every eight children under twelve in the US goes to bed hungry every night.
Half of all children under age five in South Asia and one third of those in sub-Saharan Africa are malnourished.
To satisfy the world’s sanitation and food requirements would only cost US$13 billion –
what the people of the United States and the European Union spend of perfume each year.
Some 800 million people in the world suffer form hunger and malnutrition, about 1000 times as many as those who actually die form it each year.
The Indian subcontinent has nearly half the world’s hungry people. Africa and the rest of Asia together have approximately 40%
and the remaining hungry people are found in Latin America and other parts of the world.

7billion people on Earth. 9 billion by 2040

Rick Perry was not a truly viable candidate for president of the USA?
He was just another Republican face and body to throw to the media?
From the reddest of the red states?
No possible way, that he would ever be elected to be president?
The laws that Rick perry has passed, are everything the Koch brothers have been pushing for?

Why did he quit the race in January?
Rick Perry quote- There is no viable path forward for me."
(VS- Every egg is viable?)

In Texas, the passage of the sonogram bill, Spring 2011 was a feather in Rick Perry’s
social conservative cap as he prepared to embark on the presidential campaign trail.
The sonogram bill became law, and despite all the legal wrangles in court, it stands as law in 2012.

Texas abortion measure flew under the radar?

"Here in Texas–despite all the tough talk about intrusive government– such a law is already on the books."
(It's OK to intrude into a vagina, if there might be a fetus in there?")

Texas law doesn't specify what kind of ultrasound -- belly or transvaginal --

abortion providers say they almost always must use the transvaginal probe to

pick up the heartbeat and describe the fetus in the early stages of pregnancy.

"There was no Saturday Night Live skit when Texas passed its sonogram law,"
said Sarah Wheat, co-interim CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Texas Capital Region.
"But now we’re a year into what has widely been reported as a war on women.

Dallas and Tarrant Counties Battle Infant Mortality

Dallas and Tarrant counties lead the state in infant deaths. They’ve been the highest of all urban areas in Texas for more than a decade.

Some fifteen thousand babies are born at Parkland Hospital in Dallas each year. Statistics show 110 of them will die before their first birthday.
The numbers are lower in Tarrant County, but both counties have infant death rates that are well above the state and national averages.
State health officials say the leading causes of infant deaths are premature birth, low birth weight and fetal malnutrition.

Ann Salyer-Caldwell
Tarrant County Public Health

"In our first report, our trend, our major trend was the frequency of sexually transmitted diseases."
"An untreated sexually transmitted disease can cause a woman to have premature labor."

In 2010, Perry rejected $4.4 million dollars in federal funds for comprehensive sex education. In fact, 94 percent of Texas school districts
have an abstinence-only curriculum that avoids discussing responsible pregnancy, safer sex, or disease prevention –
and another two percent of schools districts don’t teach sex education at all.

(Texas has the second highest rate of repeat teen pregnancy in the nation, and the third highest teen birth rate. )

Over the summer of 2011, Governor Perry signed a budget that slashed funding for women’s health by two-thirds,
resulting in more than 180,000 women losing access to preventive health care this year.
(July 2011, Perry signed a state budget that gutted $73 million in funding for women’s health services in Texas.)

How Rick Perry's Attempt to Privatize Medicaid Wasted Millions While Enriching Lobbyists and Hedge Funds
September 8, 2011

How much had this great innovation cost the state of Texas? Approximately $500 million, not including the
amount spent using the old system, at roughly $1 million a month.
"It may well have cost a 14-year-old boy named Devante Johnson his life."

Left without health insurance for several months because of the Texas Medicaid enrollment bureaucracy,
the Houston boy could not get treatment in time to save him from the kidney cancer that eventually
killed him in March 2007.

Texas Health and Human Services commissioner signed a rule on Thursday that formally bans Planned Parenthood clinics

said is a deal-breaker for the nearly $40 million-per-year state-federal Medicaid program.

Rick Perry's Texas lags behind on health care exchanges

mandated benefits and which insurers to allow into the mix.

Judge Sam Sparks, the Austin judge who originally issued a temporary restraining order against the law, sending it to the appeals court,
ruled that he was unable to grant the CRR's request for a permanent injunction. He wrote that he couldn't grant the injunction because
of the 5th Circuit's decision to uphold the law. In the process, though, the judge managed to telegraph that he was plenty pissed about
the whole thing, and that he believes the new law strips doctors of their right to free speech -- and women of their rights.

"It appears the panel has effectively eviscerated the protections of the First Amendment in the abortion context," and "in no other medical
context does the government go so far in telling doctors what they must, and must not, do."

"The concept that the government may make puppets out of doctors, provided it does not step on their patients' rights, is not one this
Court believes is consistent with the Constitution, in the abortion context or otherwise."

http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/unfairpark/2012/02/appeals_court_wont_rehear_cent.php

Regardless, he said, he was bound to defer to the panel's decision and uphold the law.

The mother, the baby, the children, the family, because they are poor, are collateral damage, in the war
between Republican religious and Democrats.

"But when people start to talk about spiritual warfare and the Quiverfull movement, it's very clear that they have a lot of earthly goals.
They talk about reclaiming the city of San Francisco for the faithful, or saying we can reclaim Massachusetts for the faithful. We can take
over both houses of Congress, and we can take over the government and start doing things the way Christians should be doing them.
We can ban offensive movies, and we can wage huge massive boycotts against companies that violate God's standards."

Funders

California Ocean Protection Council
NOAA National Ocean Service
U.S. Geological Survey, Western Coastal and Marine Geology Program
Packard Foundation
California Department of Fish and Game

The Packard Foundation strips their name out of the project. Why?

"The project was heavily funded by the Packard Foundation, the major financier of the MLPAI “Initiative.”
The Packard Foundation has since removed its name from the CSMP website."

July 6, 2011

John Lewallen, a longtime environmental leader on California’s North Coast, is urging everybody concerned about true ocean protection
in California waters to support the lawsuit by United Anglers of Southern California, the Coastside Fishing Club and Bob Fletcher
against Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA) Initiative.

Unlike some well-funded initiative advocates who support greenwashing under the privatized MLPA process,
Lewallen sees the MLPA Initiative for what it truly is- a resource grab by corporate interests.

"Marine Protected Areas" were created by the illegal and corrupt process financed and run by the Resources Legacy Fund Foundation.

The Schwarzenegger administration banned sustainable seaweed harvesting and fishing.

Ted Reckas exposes the private money that is behind the Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA) Initiative, a widely-contested program
to create a network of "marine protected areas" on the California coast.

The Resources Legacy Fund Foundation, a shadowy organization that North Coast environmental leader John Lewallen describes as
a “money laundering operation” for corporate money, received the funds from these foundations to implement the unpopular MLPA process.

The David and Lucillle Packard Foundation contributed $8.2 million to fund MLPA hearings, according to Reckas. The Packard Foundation
is not only the biggest funder of the MLPA, but also funded studies to build the peripheral canal, including the Public Policy Institute
of California (PPIC) report in July 2008 calling for the construction of a canal. The peripheral canal is opposed by a coalition of fishermen,
environmentalists, Indian Tribes, family farmers and Delta residents.

MLPA critics, including fishermen, environmentalists and Indian Tribal members, have charged the initiative with corruption, conflicts of interest
and institutional racism since Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger privatized the initiative in 2004 by directing the Department of Fish and Game
to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Resources Legacy Fund Foundation.

MLPA opponents also slam the MLPA process for setting up marine protected areas that fail to protect the ocean from water pollution, oil spills
and drilling, military testing, wave energy projects, corporate aquaculture and all other uses of the ocean other than fishing and gathering.

The privatized Blue Ribbon Task Force (BRTF) had to follow public meeting laws, specifically the Public Records Act. BRTF public records
clearly showed that routine illegal private meetings were held in the process of setting up Marine Protected Areas on the South Coast
and North Central Coast.

Executive Director of the MLPAI, is the outrageous conflict of interest of the President of the Western States Petroleum Association
sitting on the final arbitration board of the so-called MLPAI “Initiative.”

When the MPLA killed a 72-foot Blue Whale
On Oct. 19, 2009 an underwater mapping vessel on its last day of work for Marine Life Protection Act Initiative
(MLPAI) struck and killed a 72-foot female blue whale. The boat that killed the whale, Pacific Star lacked the
required “Marine Geophysical Survey Permit,” and the required marine mammal observer at the time of the
accident, and so was operating illegally.

Ron LeValley was a prime organizer of the burying of the blue-whale’s bones at a secret location east of Fort Bragg. (on private property)

Two months after the "accident", Mr. LeValley was chosen as a Co-Chair for the North Coast “Science Advisory Team” for the MLPAI.

Ron LeValley’s role as the Co-Chair of the Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA) Initiative’s Science Advisory Team (SAT) shows his lack of
scientific integrity, since the so-called “science” team was created by an unaccountable, privately funded process characterized
by numerous conflicts of interest, corruption and the violation of many state and federal laws.

Roland Raymond, who while serving as the tribe’s Forestry Department Director, bilked the Bureau of Indian Affairs through the tribe
of over $870,000 during a two or three year period. His alleged two co-conspirators in the scheme were arrested last Thursday on
charges of embezzlement, burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. As of yesterday, Ron LeValley’s bail remained at one million dollars,
while his partner with “Mad River Biologists” Sean McAllister had his bail reduced to $50,000. The two are scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.

Arrest of MLPA science team co-chair should be no surprise

http://noyonews.net/

The tribe's letter states the funding for the biologists' research came from the federal government --
a fact Alexander has said is of great interest to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

”The original source of funding was Federal Bureau of Indian Affairs funds for Endangered Species Act
surveys and other forestry activities,” the letter states.

The letter and affidavit state Raymond also allegedly misused tribal credit cards, falsified purchase order requests for equipment
and inflated his mileage reimbursement requests. A number of items were apparently bought and disguised as work-related,
including Apple iPads, vehicle accessories and vehicle maintenance. The affidavit states the tribe took its evidence against
Raymond to the Del Norte County District Attorney's Office.

Milk glue?- Activa YG- mixture of TG, lactose, maltodextrin, yeast extract, and safflower oil.
It is designed to thicken and improve the texture of dairy systems like yogurt and cheese

Meat Glue
Transglutaminase (TG)
Type #1- blood product
Type #2-Enzyme- microbial TG- Activa RM- RM is a mixture of TG, maltodextrin, and the helper protein sodium caseinate
Activa GB- mixture of TG, maltodextrin, gelatin, and an anti-caking agent
Activa GS- mixture of TG, maltodextrin, and gelatin, with added polyphosphate salts and a little oil
Activa TI- TI is simply TG and maltodextrin with no added helper protein, TI is packaged at twice the enzyme level as RM or GB
Activa TIU- Kosher version of TI
Activa FP- FP is similar to RM but contains skim milk powder, which is friendlier on a nutrition label
than caseinate (the useful part of skim milk powder).

Guinea pig liver provided the first commercially available form of TG.

In 1989, after testing over five thousands strains of microbes, researchers
at the Japanese company Ajinomoto (best known for the production of MSG)
discovered a strain of soil bacteria, Streptoverticillium mobaraense,
which produced large quantities of easily purified TG.

"When a beefsteak is formed by treating chopped pieces of meat trim with TG enzyme to fuse the pieces
together, an appropriate name for this product would be ``Formed Beefsteak, Chopped and Shaped.'

Angus are probably the most prolific beef cattle raised in the U.S. Angus in the U.S. is a breed of cow
that is derived from Aberdeen Angus, which originated in Scotland. USDA grade- Prime- Corn fed or grass fed?

Cows are not evolved to digest corn. It creates all sorts of problems for them. The rumen is designed for grass.
And corn is just too rich, too starchy. So as soon as you introduce corn, the animal is liable to get sick.

The animal is stressed- They give the cow antibiotics, because it will be vulnerable to all the cow diseases.
Rumensin, which is a kind of antibiotic, a very powerful drug. It's toxic.

So you put in the corn, and this layer of slime forms over the rumen. You've got to picture the rumen.
It's a 45-gallon fermentation tank. It's essentially fermenting the grass. Suddenly your slime forms
and the gas can't escape, and the rumen just expands like a balloon. It's pressing against the lungs
and the heart, and if nothing is done, the animal suffocates.

They also get acidosis, which is an acidifying of the rumen. ... And when the animals get acid stomach, it's a really bad case
of heartburn, and they go off their feed. Eventually, if you give them too much corn too quickly, it ulcerates the rumen;
bacteria escape from the rumen into the blood stream, and end up in the liver, creating liver abscesses.

Most cows on feedlots eating this rich diet of corn are prone to having their livers damaged. So to prevent that,
or limit the incidence of liver disease, they have to give them another antibiotic.

There's a dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico a thousand miles wide that is the result of nitrogen runoff coming down
the Mississippi and killing all the life in this zone in the Gulf. And that's coming directly from corn.

Manure, as far as you can see. They only scrape the feedlots out between classes, which is every six months.
The beef cattle forced to exist with their feces all the time. When they go to sleep, that's what they lie down in.

The animals have spent their lives lying in their manure, are smeared and caked with the stuff, when they enter the food plant.

And a great deal of the effort, which is now 99.9 percent of the time successful, is essentially keeping the manure out
of the meat. But it doesn't; it's not a perfect system.

Feed lot manure is particularly lethal, because it contains now certain microbes like E. coli O157, is a strain of a common
intestinal bacteria which is now very common in the manure of feedlot animals.

E. coli O157 is relatively new -- it wasn't isolated until the early 1980s -- and that it essentially doesn't exist in the gut
of animals that eat grass. It is a problem associated with feeding animals corn.

There is research that's been done that shows simply by putting cows on grass or hay for the last several days of their life,
the E. coli population in their gut plummets by as much as 80 percent because, again, the E. coli O157 can't tolerate the
change in the pH in the stomach. A scientist, a very well-respected researcher at Cornell named James Russell, has
proposed this in a series of articles.

Pathogens, pollution (fish and hormone supplements ), and Mad Cow disease was not killed by irradiation.

Smear all that scrap meat together with meat glue, and what do you get?

Blumenthal applauds legislation to improve protection of the president

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) applauded passage of the S. 1794 Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011,
a bill that enhances the Secret Service’s ability to protect the President and others by expanding federal criminal law concerning those
who trespass into restricted areas. This legislation is the first of Blumenthal’s to be sent to the President for his signature.

"The new law should punish and deal more effectively with anyone who illegally enters restricted areas to threaten
the President, Vice President, or other Secret Service protectees."

"On a pilgrimage to Jerusalem in January 1924, Haile Selassie witnessed a marching band of Armenian refugees, all survivors of
the Ottoman genocide. Moved by their plight and impressed by their music, he invited all 40 of them to become his state band
in Addis Ababa. Over the next 50 years, countless Ethiopian bands followed the same line-up and forged a stately brand of
jazz-funk, fostering unique talents such as Mulatu Astatke, Mahmoud Ahmed and Alemayehu Eshete."

Sellassie VS. Mussolini

"But for His Majesty Haile Selassie, the year 1935 would have been a distinctly different year. If by some unhappy chance the
Italo-Ethiopian war should now spread into a world conflagration, Power of Trinity I, the King of Kings, the Conquering Lion
of Judah, will have a place in history as secure as Woodrow Wilson's. If it ends in the fall of Mussolini and the collapse of
Fascism, his Majesty can plume himself on one of the greatest feats ever credited to (insensitive 1935 word used here)."
