All of the family are gathered together. The little ones look at grandfather and wonder if he had a pet dinosaur.
Getting a hug and a kiss from grandmother. Grandmother must have made mummies in the days of the Pharaohs.
Did grandma meet King Tut? Did grandpa stab a T-Rex with a spear? Did old uncle sail on a Viking ship?

Girl Scouts of Colorado says it made a mistake when it rejected a 7-year-old boy's application to join.

Bobby Montoya said he wanted to join his sister in the group, and the rejection hurt.

Bobby's mother refers to him as a "he," but Bobby dresses and behaves like a girl.

The Girl Scouts issued a statement saying a worker unfamiliar with the group's policies
gave the family wrong information.

The group says requests for support of transgender kids have grown, and
Girl Scouts of Colorado is working to support the children, their families
and the volunteers who serve them.

Girl Scouts' admitting of boy draws backlash

Bryant-Snure called the Girl Scouts' action (of admitting a transgender child into the Girl Scouts)
"extremely confusing" and an "almost dangerous situation" for children.

"This goes against what we [Northlake Christian School] believe," Bryant-Snure said.

Susan Bryant-Snure of Lacombe, La., is one of three troop leaders at Northlake Christian School
who resigned and are dismantling their troops because the policy is in conflict with that of the host school.
Her three daughters, ages 10, 6 and 4, are among 25 girls who had been active scouts there.

Instead, Northlake is investigating aligning with American Heritage Girls, a group organized in 1995
in protest to the Girl Scouts' decision to allow scouts to replace the word "God" in scout teachings
with a word representing a personal image of God, such as a "higher being,"
"Allah" or "Buddha."

Congress on Friday extended the payroll tax cut for another two months, sending the package
to President Barack Obama's desk just in time for the holidays.

The two-month package preserves a $1,500 payroll tax cut for the middle class and extends unemployment benefits
that were set to expire at the end of the year, preventing an abrupt cutoff for nearly 2 million long-term jobless
in January alone. The bill also extends the "doc fix," a stopgap that prevents Medicare reimbursement rates for
doctors from being automatically slashed.
