Hi, I'm a married straight male. I have really been wanting to receive strapon sex from my wife. I know lots of lube, but what positions are best? Should I enema beforehand? Is it easy in the shower?

I'm in the same boat as you. I think the shower would be the safest place, just in case... but water tends to make lube ineffective. Just go after a shower when you feel comfortable with it. Relax, and fool around a lot before, get you really horny and enthusiastic. Ever had anal sex with her?

My advice as someone who's been doing strapon play for a few years now:

In my experience a ring harness is best because you can basically use any dong with a flared base - just make sure the ring is snug on the dong. There are lots of options on Amazon.

OP, I really wouldn't recommend doing it in the shower for the first time. As azco15 said, water can wash away the lube, but also, you're going to want to be as comfortable as possible and she's going to need to be able to brace herself in different ways as she learns how to do it, and a slippery shower may not be the best place for this. I'd just put a towel or two down on the bed.

I also recommend using a condom on the strapon dong. You should still clean the dong after the condom is removed, but it makes reuse much safer (many dongs can never be completely sterilised) and the cleanup simpler.

Only use water-based lube. Silicon-based lube is okay for very specific materials, like glass, but water-based lube is always safe with anything. Remember that you'll probably have to keep reapplying lube, so keep it handy.

Go slowly and tell her if something feels good or if she's going in at a painful angle. Your first time is not the time for a "cruel dominatrix violating you" roleplay. Start with your smaller toys to get you ready and take plenty of time to explore and enjoy.

If haven't done an enema before, do one about a week before you first play. Sometimes people screw up the enema and water gets trapped up there, which can lead to problems during play. We have some limited experience with pegging, FM style. I couldn't improve on Goddess' advice. We mostly use a Feeldoe because it has a bulb that goes in her pussy and makes Happy Thoughts when it moves. We still have to use a harness with it.
