hello there

A few days ago i found out that my husband had sucked a man's cock. When I confronted him he told me it was just to experiment, just out of curiosity. My first thought was that he was gay, but I've been searching and seems that it is a common feeling among straight men. For me it's hard to understand that a straight man will fantasize about it. So please leave your comments or experiences.

Pretty common semi fantasy at least amongst straight men, a much smaller percentage will have gone through with it.

Is it something he wants to do daily or once every three years whether he needs it or not?

I doubt there is anything "common" about that.. even in a place where there are more kinksters, freaksters and weirdos like there are here.

There is nothing at all for me that man has, that I wanna try....personally, the thought of two hairy guys bumping uglies grosses me out to no end. But, different strokes and all.

If I were you, I'd be at least as concerned that he cheated on you...if not more so.

Found out how?
I'm not being nosy, the answer really does make a difference.
If there were trust issues and you were in bird-dog mode already then this is one thing. If you were presented with it by a third party who knew and you didn't that's something else. If it was an innocent slip between the two of you it's an entirely different thing altogether.

I hate that word 'confronted.' It can mean anything from a calm reasonable conversation when you were both in a position to talk freely to flinging yourself at him tearfully the moment he walks in the door.
What did it mean for you?
Again, it matters because it affects his answers. So many people think they're more likely to get the truth with the latter but really they're only likely to cause their partner to shut down and become defensive.

What was the timeframe of this event?
This one matters possibly most of all. It may even trump the other two.

Did it happen while you were married?
If so then you have every right to want him to be open and honest. To share his motives and desires. What happened was a breach of trust.

Was it something from his past or his youth?
If so then exploring it with you should be his choice. If he wants to leave it alone then let him. Hopefully he feels comfortable enough to share all of his experimentation and exploration just as you should be able to do with him. If the two of you aren't in that place, if you can't hear his past without judging then leave it.

Primarily you shouldn't be searching the 'net and polling strangers. You should be talking to your husband.

I thought you were a shaver.

Not something I'd ever have any "curiosity" about.
No but then not all fantasies are 'common' that doesn't make any of them all that far over the fence. As 'out there' goes I have to say there's some stuff out there that makes me downright ill so this? I have to figure it's pretty tame.
I still don't understand why it's so acceptable for a woman to label herself bi-curious and not for a man to do the same. When a woman says that it even adds to her allure to a certain degree, makes her seem open minded and free spirited. When a man alludes to the same feelings the reaction is almost the opposite.

There are really 2 issues.
His actions and their marriage.
I'm trying to get at whether the first is a symptom or a cause of the problem with the latter.

Well she did ask for comments and I gave mine. And all it means is that I have no interest in being so curious. But it stands to reason that some folks will be. The lady in question wonders why a straight man would fantasize about such a thing, but there is so much noise today about guys and guys that some guys will wonder what it's all about and experiment.

She also never said if her husband did the deed before or after they were married or if he continued after the initial event.

If a guy or a gal is bi-curious, fine. Let them explore, at some point they'll have to come to some kind of conclusion. As for the allure, I don't know. I guess it depends on the person being allured or not.

I agree there are some sickening things out there, even there are some things that make my blood boil but unless it affects me directly, there's not much I can do.

Oh I didn't mean to call you judgy.

You're right, every person is entitled to his or her own fantasies. Choosing to act them out is a step that can cause real harm if you don't consider everyone involved.
There just isn't enough info in that post to get a clear picture of what happened. If the OP wants to come back and fill in some of the blanks then great. Otherwise this is just a poll and with the way it's worded the guy is going to be damned by it.

I can see too many possible ways for this to have played out and in about half of them that isn't really fair.

I would agree.

um, no. not common.
i did it to myself out of teenage curiosity, but i wouldn't even consider it with anyone else, ever.

There's gotta be a dozen of these threads running around Lit. They all make me chuckle, but then again, most things do. It ought to be rather obvious that a truly "straight" man has no curiosity or inclination to even wonder what it would be like to give another man a blowjob, let alone do it.
