I guess you could have an Anne Heche type premise where an actress marries another higher-level female celebrity to advance her career.

EDIT: Maybe the actress has a sex tape in her past and the powerful lesbian celeb bought it and is using it to force the relationship/marriage.

Could make for a *very* "interesting" career choice that one; but yeah, especially if the actress and her "wife" have kids... that's going to lead to a VERY interesting situation, as in the ancient Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times." about how usually nobody wants to hear about safe times in the newspaper.

That is a very interesting idea; and about a wicked woman approach; blackmailing her female crush into marrying her *does* make the most sense, as far as *how* that'd happen.
