I am looking for any stories that would involve a straight girl that ends up in a lesbian relationship that culminates in a lesbian wedding. It can be about a woman that is blackmailed into divorcing her husband to marry another woman in a beautiful wedding gown. Or about about a girl faking her lesbianism to advance her career that ends up marrying her female boss with no way to escape that relationship. Did you ever come across anything similar?

I've never encountered such a story.

But it sounds like an interesting premise.

This is the Story Ideas section, I'm sure someone would love to make it. Your ideas are pretty good.

I especially like the idea of a girl pretending to be a lesbian to advance her career, and marries her female boss. That could be an idea which could be toyed with.

Yes, I love this plot as well. It doesn't have to be a boss, could be a female colleague that is "helping" her friend to pose as a lesbian for career reasons only to make sure she never goes back to being her old self.
If someone is willing to take it would be great. I've been trying to write it myself (and have everything planned in my head, down to scenes and even conversations), but I don't think I have the talent or determination for that.

Personally, I think if a straight woman were to enter into a lesbian relationship with her boss, it has to be for something substantial, otherwise it wouldn't be believable.

Maybe it could be something like an ambitious young female politician who's running on a democratic ticket. She's running in San Francisco, and suddenly she has a challenger who's a lesbian, then suddenly she starts losing in the polls. So the candid has to do something to win her base back, so she poses as a lesbian.

Perhaps the woman is a sitting mayor, and she wants to go to Congress or something.

Or maybe it could be an ambitious corporate executive, who becomes cozy with the openly gay CEO of the company.

Yes, these are great. Alternatively, the main character could be motivated by her (mistaken) belief that being a sexual minority could somehow help advance her career (like the company needed to fill some quota etc.). Or she could sue her employer for allegedly discriminating against her because she's a lesbian and would need to produce some hard proof that she's not a fake...

I like the idea of the politician since it can create a nice power exchange and an incentive for the Lesbian half of the relationship to force the marriage.

For example: At the local party office, there's a secretary who really looks up to the new senatorial candidate (a year or so before the actual election) and is practically ecstatic when she gets to sit next to her at a dinner. The two make small talk and at the end of the night, she helps walk the exhausted candidate to her limo and even gets a ride home. They have a couple of drinks and the two of them get more comfortable till their talking like old friends. By the time they get to the secretary's home, they're both embracing each other and go for a platonic kiss on the cheek, only to accidentally connect in a kiss...which gets caught by a passerby on their phone.

The secretary comes into work the next day, afraid she'll be fired when she receives a call from the candidate, asking her on a date. Things go great for the next few months, with the secretary becoming increasingly more enthralled with the candidate and the attention she's receiving. Sure there's a few odd things, like the fact they still haven't sex and that its rare that any of their dates don't end up getting photographed, but she rationalizes her concerns away, while falling more and more for the candidate.

Then one day she finds out she's just a prop, the candidate has been having an affair with some of her male interns, and she'll be tossed aside right before election night. She's devastated but soon her thoughts turn retribution. She convinces the candidate during one of their dates to buy her a ring, pretending that she just thinks it will look good. Then when the secretary is in a sit-down interview, she shows off the ring, telling the reporter how the two of them are now engaged and the wedding is set for the day after the election.

When the candidate confronts her, the secretary puts her foot down and reveals everything she knows. She then threatens to release recorded phone calls and copies of e-mails discussing the plan, if the candidate doesn't play along and give her the storybook wedding and honeymoon she always wanted...and of course the plan will also be revealed if the candidate ever cheats on her with a guy (I thought it would be fun if there was a scene where the secretary pulled out a strap-on and said something like "get a good look because this is the closest thing to a cock you're even going to see till your term's over).

As for the idea itself, I did see a story like that on here but I wouldn't recommend it. It had a sub-plot about woman marrying a lesbian celebrity to be a gold digger but the main plot was about how her father had been the one to get her to go on the con and was fucking her so she wouldn't be tempted to cheat on the celebrity...I'd go into more detail but like I said, I really don't recommend it and it only technically fits the OP's idea.

These are all interesting ideas. I think I'll throw another scenario into the discussion. It's a bit of a long one.

You could have a young businesswoman who's living in America and from another country originally. Her Visa's running out (or some other scenario that will force her to head back to her home country) and she doesn't want to leave her business in someone else's hands and handle it from afar. She figures that the easiest way to stay is to marry an American citizen. Her business partner is a born and raised American citizen and a lesbian. They decide to get married, and to avoid getting into trouble for fraud, they have to live together and act like a couple in public.

To make things awkward, the lesbian business partner had feelings for her straight business partner for a long time, and she might be taking advantage of the situation. The straight half of the relationship might fall for a guy after the marriage.

There's a big opportunity for some really erotic stuff here. It could also be pretty funny, and/or be a great piece about two good friends working through a tough situation, where one sort of takes advantage of the other more than she should.

Thanks, guys, these are nice, they really got me thinking about the topic again. And I even wrote down the first 2000 words down yesterday, finishing the first chapter. Lets see how it goes from here. It is the "stuck as someone you pretend to be" aspect of the story that I find most exciting.

There is a series called "With Strings Attached" by maxout09 that you may enjoy. While not involving marriage at this point, it is about a straight girl being blackmailed into a lesbian relationship, and she is drawn deeper and deeper into it, to the point where she begins to enjoy some things despite herself. Everyone finds out about her relationship with this other girl, to the point where everyone things she is a lesbian, and she doesn't see any escape from her predicament.

This thread really makes me think of that series, so you might want to check it out.

Just create what is unique to you and don't worry what other people think or want. Just follow your creative heart and May the forth be with you...Oh yeah, that was yesterday, today's the 5th...haha

Thank you very much. I am a big fan of that story. Another story that comes fairly close to my idea is Couture's Almost there already. Sadly it stops just as it stars to get interesting:)

OMG thank you for mentioning the "With Strings Attached" series. I read it last night. WOW!!!!!!!

Straight girl forced into real lesbian marriage

You mean opposed to the artificial ones?

Sorry, not helping but I see funny ways people say things sometimes and feel a moral imperative to comment. XD

This is me nitpicking. Do you know what a nit is? It's the egg of a louse.

Hey, thanks for your feedback!:D
What I meant to say is legal marriage (and a proper wedding before it) as opposed to just two women living and having sex together. Just recently this distinction didn't exist, now it does.
There is a difference between a plot where a straight woman is blackmailed into an affair with a lesbian or becomes her slave and a plot where she must embrace lesbianism publicly by marrying another woman.

It's a very good story. If you liked it, you may also enjoy Couture's Almost there already (it's about a politician's daughter who must keep a pretend lesbian relationship with a girl at school to help her father's re-election) and an old Musker classic "Out of the Frying Pan and into the Fire" - it's about a career woman who fakes a lesbian affair with her female boss in order to keep her stalker boyfriend at bay and ends up in an extreme lezdom relationship. That one is clearly not for everyone, but if you don't mind very heavy BDSM, you'd love it, especially the first three quarters of the story.

Oh My :)

wow, that was a VERY good story too sir, both of them. I had to search for the Musker story and it was well worth the work. I may need some alone time now :)

I had another thought, what if the couple was forced together as part of a marketing scheme. I know it's similar to the idea I pitched earlier on this thread but what if it was an entertainment or fashion industry stunt?

For example, let's say there's a pair of models who haven't quite hit supermodel status but they've managed to hit a semi-big gig showing up in a swimsuit catalog whose normal stable of models has had a couple of its members cancel. The two show up, only to find out that one of the planned bikinis has been removed from the catalog at the last minute. While the two of them will be compensated, it appears only one of them will get the much more important camera time.

As the models' managers, the cameramen, and the shoot director all prepare to get in a huge fight, one of the models suggests that the two of them split the bikini and take the shots as a pair. While it's shaky, the other model, the straight protagonist agrees since she's desperate to get seen. While the model who suggested the idea isn't a big name, she knows the camera crew and is confident suggesting shots. Soon, the two of them are taking a shot where our straight protagonist is pressed up against our lesbian protagonist. The straight protagonist is nervous but the lesbian protagonist is pretty charismatic and is able to calm her down and becomes fast friends with her.

The managers and the crew notice the chemistry the two of them seem to have and after finding out that one of the models is a lesbian, they decide to market the two of them as a couple to make their already steamy shots even more suggestive. While both models are pissed that their managers went behind their backs (especially the straight protagonist whose parents were already not pleased with how much skin she was willing to show in her shoots), the reaction is enough to get the two of them booked for a string of jobs and a high-profile contract...providing they keep up the act.

The straight model is reluctant to go along with the plan but eventually agrees to it since she's become friends with the other model, who has even made a positive impression on her family and friends. The two get more and more jobs until they are even getting to be the highlight of shows. However, their managers, who by this point also believe they are a couple, want to milk the fame for all its worth and have the two of them get married, with all of the dresses, lingerie, and swimming suits for the ceremony and honeymoon being provided by several big name designers, in exchange for a pre-marriage fashion show.

While the managers are already trying to schedule tv coverage and sit-down interviews, the straight model is chuckling with the other model, believing that it will just be a staged affair. That's when the other model reveals that it's going to be 100% authentic and she's not interested in the two of them playing at being a couple...they're going to be joined all the way or not at all.

It could also be done with a pair of singers who aren't that popular on their own but they get a lot more coverage and play time when the two of them are being marketed as a couple.

LOVE it. That's an amazing plot idea! And it will actually be almost realistic given the fashion and entertainment world's fascination with lesbians. And it's not like we haven't seen that being shamelessly exploited already by the movie and entertainment industry for years (Madonna kissing Britney Spears, Sandra Bullock kissing Scarlett Johansson etc). I am also reminded of Versace's steamy faux lesbian ads from 2008 -- http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/versace-fall-08

So yes, a wonderful idea, while the story about politicians will require major suspension of disbelief, this one will definitely work!

The straight model should also have a husband or boyfriend who she has to pretend to break up with. Only thing is with her spending so much time with her new lover the distance between them keeps growing and the pretence turns into a real breakup.

Yep, slowly giving up vestiges of her old life should be part of it. Everyone around her should ultimately see her as lesbian.

I love the visa and the marketing scheme ideas ^^ Maybe a plot involving a certain witness protection program?

It is an interesting idea; in a LOT of ways... should make for a very interesting story, if it can be done.

It's been ten years since it's thrown around here, it's worth an attempt of a search of what could have come out of it... or perhaps more realistically, what somewhat similar had landed independently since.

But yes, there's several very compelling plots here. Being a visual person I especially like the modeling one, but the visa plot could be realistic too, and more grippy (to outright grim, but we probably don't have interest to go there here).

I guess you could have an Anne Heche type premise where an actress marries another higher-level female celebrity to advance her career.

EDIT: Maybe the actress has a sex tape in her past and the powerful lesbian celeb bought it and is using it to force the relationship/marriage.

Yeah, and the amount of time is really not that important; but the *ideas* could feasibly be made to work.
