Someone reported the story claiming it violated one or more of the sites rules. Laurel will review it eventually and if it does it disqappears, if it doesn't it might return.

I've seen it happen before. The author, if there still around will have the option to appeal or edit the story.

That, in of itself, is another problem. Lit will not *knowingly* allow you to "edit" another author's story and submit it under your name.

It's up to the author. If they do nothing, the story stays down forever. At this point, the site will do nothing more about it until and if the author responds.
