Min, honey, you don't have to be secretive about your flirting. It's okay, really. Dampy and I are busy biting each other...and I'm not telling where...

I bet it's the ABDOMEN!!!!!

See, this is just the reason I love Lit. You start reading, you think it's gonna go one way, and BAM! There it goes off in the other direction!

Only here can one ask a question about submitting a story and end up with a girl-on-girl tongue fest. All I can say is God Bless America!

And Texas! Yee-haw!

You said it! Yee-haw! *tilts hat and shuffles away as spurs clink behind me* ;)

I wasn't born in Texas, but I claim my citizenship here nonetheless. You know how when U.S. citizens have a baby in another country, that baby is also a U.S. citizen? So is it with Texas as far as I'm concerned.

My parents were both Texas-bred and raised. So just because they happened to be living in Ohio when I was born doesn't change the fact that I'm a Texan. I got back here as soon as I could (OK, as soon as they moved back), which was age 8. So I'm in my 19th year in this great state, and I'm never, EVER leaving.

There's good reason why Texas is the only state in the union that can legally secede. Sometimes I wonder why we haven't...

By the way, Lucky...whereabouts are you?

LOL. Yup, this state is the cat's meow as far as I'm concerned. But you gotta admit, we're all pretty nutty. As far as secession goes......there's no telling what'll happen next.

I'm in the D/FW metroplex. And it is an absolutely beautiful day today. :D

I'm in Lubbock, and it has been a absolutely beautiful day now for about a week straight. Upper 80's all week for us. And none of that damn east Texas humidity that you've got! Here we have to get ourselves all wet & sweaty - the weather doesn't do it for us!
;)

Hey you two Tejanos, all I know about Lubbock is that it produced Buddy Holly, whoop-tee-ti-yi-yoh. My pops grew up in San Antonio and I've lots of other rels in your state, but I've only been through it. Maybe I'll stop next time.

Oh, P! I'll definitely have my feelings hurt if you don't stop for a visit. San Antonio is a wonderful place. There are lots of fun things to do and see here. I'm not big on Lubbock, just because it's so far away from everything and mainly operates around the college there and other farming/ranching things. Not enough excitement for me, I guess. And the last time I was there, I met up with some pretty backward thinking folk. But I'm glad to see GBT here, proving that this isn't always the case. :D

Yes, Lubbock definitely has its fair share of backwards-thinking morons. There's too many old people here. This place is like a retirement Mecca. Old people, farmers...the driving, my god, the driving! Better get out of their way!

Lucky, next time you're this way, you just look me up. There's only a few things I do backwards, and thinking's not one of them.

Thanks for the invite, Tex. The interest in your backwards behavior is running high.... ;)

My dictionary says that backward is "toward the back; in a reverse or contrary way." Apply that to the general topic of discussion on this website, and do the math.

The key thing to remember is backWARDS, not backWOODS. Hehehe...
