I just submitted my first story at the Literotica.com home page (not here in the forum).

I am confused, though. There doesn't seem to be a page there similar to the Subscriptions page here in the forum. How do I know whether or not my story had been accepted or rejected, and if the first whether or not it is posted? I could scroll through the New Stories and look for it, but I am sure there must be some time of main page for me ... isn't there?

Yes, it's the same place where you submitted your story.

It'll show:

TellMeATale2013 Literotica Control Panel

Along the left is submissions, click there and then view. Your story will be listed and it'll be approved, pending or rejected (with a reason).

It takes some time and if it's a contest time, such as the Earth Day contest, it can add more time.

Thanks, found it. Just like your motto, it was hiding in plain site. :D

Me again...

Do any of you post stories to the main Literotica page, to the Story Submission page?

Have any of you gotten a story published in the last week? Two weeks? I ask because I submitted one 5 days ago and there has been NO action on it what so ever.

Is that normal? I assumed they just glanced over them quickly -- if that -- and popped them up there. It wasn't that long anyway, maybe 800-1000 words. I've written that much here in a single post, probably.

Anyway, my points is:

Is this normal and should I just sit back and relax; or should I contact someone to ensure that they even got it? To whom would I send a short email to ensure the submission was received?

Oh, and I should point out... that the review page DOES show that I have one submission awaiting review, so the computer at least thinks that there's a story there. It would just be nice to know that a human could verify that.

5 days seems about right. Be patient.

Wonderful, the submission was accepted. Thanks for your help folks.

In case you're interested in reading a story, you can find it in the Incest/Taboo section. It's called "Sex and the Wilderness", and the second chapter will be going in for approval today.

I am interested in knowing if anyone likes it. I got 3 comments to the first chapter: one was short but positive, and the other two were Anonymous, and I don't give any credit to anonymous posts anyway, so I ignored them. (They may have been good, they may have been bad; I don't know because I didn't read them.)
