Did anyone else notice that the stories are now all in alphabetical order on your submissions page and also if you search stories? The New and Top lists are uneffected... but everywhere else... all in alpha order... didn't it used to be ordered by date of posting?? or am I crazy??

Nope, always been in alphabetical order as far as I know.

As far a being crazy goes, I don't think so. Although I'm not a pro but do have some personal experience with mental disorders. ;)

ok you're right, the submissions page always was...

but say you go to search stories and type in your author name... it used to come up in date order, but now it comes up alpha... and if you have more than one page of stories, they BOTH come up alpha... which is kind of weird...

and when I searched stories before under that feature, they used to come up by date (earliest to newest) but now they come up alpha...

If you ask then the answer is 'NO!'. Crazy people don't know they're crazy so wouldn't have the cognitive abilities to ask the question.

I know several 'crazy' people and they all know that they're crazy.

That's a conundrum that always used to bother me. If I think I'm crazy, does that mean I must be sane because crazy people don't know they're crazy or does it mean I'm crazy enough that even I can see it?

ETA: And have you ever noticed that if you type the word "crazy" enough times the letters make no sense and it doesn't even look like a word any more or is it just me? :D

I don't think that's ever happened with me for crazy, but it does with other words... like awkward.

But knowing and asking are too different things...

If you know you're crazy do you need to ask? or would you ask?

If you know you're not crazy would you ask?

To my mind, I know I'm not crazy so I never ask. ;)

Oh and they said I would be getting out of this special room I'm in today. :D

No. I always find my stories through my own sig, by going to a recent post and clicking into my memberpage. I found the search functions here to return too many pages of unrelated shit, so I stopped using them for anything, unless to find an old thread or an old post from last year or earlier.

Google is funny, as you notice. I search with it for my stories, once in a while, to see if I am being stolen by someone. But more than half the time, the search does not turn up my actual Lit story, even if it does turn up stolen iterations of it.
