I personally didn't find the movie any good, but love the book as can be seen by it's ever developing well worn state over the last 30 years.

i have heard that there's a site to read this story somewhere online, but haven't had any luck finding it. Anyone have a link?

My advice would be to buy the book...not that expensive, and much better than a snippet....and you might find yourself returning to its pages often as time goes on.

sage advice...
there's certainly enough there to make me want to know what happens next...

especially since the price for the full book from there is only $1... a steal if you ask me. And the MS reader software is free from microsoft. (and if you don't mind stilted computervoices, it will even read it to you, complete with saying, "comma, period, exclamation point, etc." )

They have a few other interesting books there also. Lady Chatterlys Lover is a free ebook. They are a little hard to read, but if you are sitting at the computer anyway...why not an ebook.

Book is WAY better. It is one of Master's favorite :) He rereads it all the time. :)

Have to agree with the rest ... buy the book!!! I return to it again and again ... many of the pages are dog-eared as i re-read and re-read and re-read ..... well .. you get the point! :)

I dunno... I still haven't decided how much I like the book... just unsure that I like how it ends but it was most definitely worth reading.
