In the war with Iraq, I honestly believe that American citizens cared more about innocent Iraqis than their own government. We grieved for them when their own leader was setting them up to be human shields. And *we're* the bad guys? Geez, if we're the worst there is, the world is in better shape than I though. Oh, wait, all I have to do is tune into CNN to see that's not the case.

As angry as we are, whatever America does, it'll be done keeping in mind the notion that the fewer innocents to die, the better.

Too bad the terrorists who did this didn't feel that way.

Stop the killing! And... do what? What do we do when more threats come, not just to the US but to the free world, ask the bad men nicely to stop? Close our eyes and hope they'll go away?
