Holy shit! I'm sorry this has happened, B. I know this one means a lot to you.

Somehow "Angie by the Sea" just isn't the same.

Well, I'm an idiot anyway. Someone explain what an operatic supergroup has to do with stories from Lit. I did see it. I'd love to post a nasty comment. And probably will. But what the hell does their blog have to do with ... ahhh... stories?

and what *cheek* to pass every little inch of it off as her own writing. An insult to Drkside and an insult to her so-called 'friend'.

Why couldn't she have said 'here's a story I loved and had to let you know about because you're my friend' or whatever and given drkside credit?
hooooooor.

She'll get hers.

B, can I post a factual reposte on their forum? Or would you rather have L&M deal with it?

Unbelievable!

I can't believe she had the gall to call it a gift for her sister!

Hope you get this one sorted out. :rose:

I'm trying to join the site so I can post on her 'wall' that she stole the story. I'm in that kind of mood until the fricken Panthers score the go ahead TD. They're killing me.

I feel so left out. They never steal my crap. <crying>

Am I the only one who cannot possibly picture this, no matter how much suspension of disbelief I put into it? ;)

You'd think that a site about a music group ( I think? ) would quickly remove copyright infringement the moment they were informed of it. I don't see a contact link for the administrator ( unless you sign up and they actually check PMs ) so maybe hunt up a moderator with a listed email and provide them with the links?

Hell of a lot of stories out there. I wonder if they make operas out of em. No idea if more are Lit stories. Just search all of whatz her namez posts... follow the thread(s).

Go ahead if you can. I tried joining the site about a week ago and still haven't been approved.

You mean I can't take out my frustration there today?

Okay, I wrote her and wagged my finger to shame her. That should do it, don't you think?

Panthers tied it up.

Yeh... same thing.

I found one moderator with an email contact, sent off a mail with links to the thread on that board and the story here on Lit, making numerous mentions of copyright, and the absurdity of a website dedicated to a group of people who should have interests in their own intellectual property allowing theft from others to remain on their servers.

Could always whois it for the website administrator contact, too. The main site appears to be fairly legit, so the admin is probably going to be sensitive to any legal issues.

EDIT: I see the whois info has been looked up already.

EDIT 2: Email to the administrator address listed bounces. No luck there.

Thanks to a fan, I have found another one of my stories stolen.

Here's the link to my stolen piece http://forum.ildivo.com/viewtopic.php?t=24428

Here's the link to my story at Lit. http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=288612

What really grinds me is how the plagarist claims to be the writer of Suzanne by the Sea.

Everyone might want to take a quick peek to see if she has hijacked any other material.

This is bad!

And God, those graphics...I gotta go puke!

The administrator has let me into the Forum... now what shall I say?
ETA: well I got an email confirming name and password, but I still can't log into the forum

Be direct. Go for the kill.

Name the plagiarist, list the date she posted your story as her own, include the link back to Literotica with the date you posted it here.

You don't have to flame her. Let the people who she fooled on that site take care of it.

Your membership has to be "approved" by a moderator.

Between the admin contact from whois being bogus and the "approval process," this website is looking less legit by the second.

I despise the pirates who rip off our stories without any credit, but the worst kind is the plagiarist who posts a story and claims to have written it. I hope somebody does add to the comments at the end of the plagiarist's post, telling where it came from, including the link.

That is one wierd web site. Many of the 'members web pages' are porn or pharmacy mechandising. There are child porn videos also linked through members websites  I'm wondering who this might be reported to?
ETA: Found a child porn reporting link and gave them the information, might help get the site closed down. Prosecution would be a bonus.

The memberlist itself is odd. They have supposedly had more than 70 people join a day for the past two days and the "most posts" are all the same for the first page and a half, and impossibly high at that.
