stockings and garter belts

I may have had an epiphany last night: Perhaps the reason so many men over 50 have a fascination with stockings and garter belts is that is what we girls wore in junior high school and high school. I remember being conscious of walking up or down stairs in school if there were many boys standing at then other end. now I truly realize why they congregated at the stairwell! All us girls in mini skirts, garter belts and stockings!!!
Anybody care to comment on this thought process?

I love stockings and suspenders - so sexy and always the chance of a flash of upper thigh.
All you get with tights (panty hose) is a few wrinkles and disappointing view.

one man's opinion...

I personally enjoy seeing a lovely woman wearing thigh-high stockings being held up by a garter belt because it is akin to seeing a painting well framed.
The way the straps attach in the front and back of her leg, and how the edge of the stocking goes to right at the bottom of a buttock... It is like framing an ass to be viewed upon with splendor!

But this is me, and I am barely over 30.

thinking perhaps it isn't an age thing, but does harbor some residual memories for many out there. I personally love the way stockings seem to glide up my leg and the snug feel at the top of the thigh high ones. Garters, like a mini sort of bondage....

Slide those stockings on down my legs followed by your lips and hands and I am yours!!!

Ej, you may have a point! I grew up with images of stockings and garter belts and heels as the standard sexy pinup woman, and it is still such an intense turn on for me! Back then everyone wore stockings so it was very common to catch glimpses of the top of the stockings or the garter belt. Soooo sexy!!!

Love a Garter

I guess I am showing my age by saying how sexy a garter belt and stockings are! I think its the lost art of wondering whats under the skirt not seeing whats under the skirt. The skirts are getting so short that there is no need to wonder! Smooth legs and a garter...Awesome!

yes it was common for teenage girls to wear garter belts and stockings when I was a teenager. Started wearing them around 12. Quit when pantyhose hit the market. Now back to stockings and garter belts. Everything old is new again!!!
