Someone had to start this thread, there was no avoiding it :D

Poor Steve may be facing charges for whaleriding and interacting with seals in the Antarctica or something else he did equally silly, with penalities of up 2 years imprisonment or 1 million in fines.

He states that he is the greatest wildlife warrior in the world, and that he has a lot of enemies in the whale community for speaking out against whale killing.

To quote his words "Bring it on" :D

Good on him, typical aussie bloke with the typical aussie ego :p

Let the crocodiles have him.

Sorry, I'm sure he is a great bloke and all, doing volumes for the wildlife and the general environmrnt awareness.

It's just that style of his, that hysterical energy and that one-man-riot manic panic face yelling at me from the tv screen. I can't stand him.

LOL, he is an acquired taste, but love his enthusiasm, attitude, and heart, and yes, he is one of the few genuine and good Aussies we have left who have not been tainted by the almighty dollar. My granddaughter thinks he is great after her first visit to his reserve with her childcare group...apparently she was beside herself all day with excitement and wonderment.:D
