Your simplistic view of ‘the rule of law’ as a cure for our national issues is not a satisfactory source of guidance. Our nation has experienced polarization, and people have lost trust in the legal system. The events that occurred on January 6th and Donald Trump's attempt to regain power clearly demonstrate this division.

We need to recognize and address the underlying social, economic, and political issues that contribute to social discord and unrest, rather than relying solely on the rule of law. We need to elect leaders who can ensure that our legal system treats all Americans fairly, justly, and with accountability, regardless of their race, gender, or socioeconomic status. The future of our democracy depends on it.

I liked the content and feistiness of Biden's speech, but I think he delivered it too fast (probably an intentional claim to his robustness), which led him to some speech miscues I'm surprised I haven't seen the Republicans hop on.
