Ok, I cut down some trees in front of my yard. But now the space looks really empty. So I was thinking you grow lots of things right?

Do you have an recommendations of plant for me to grow there? Stuff that's doesn't take too much care, and are good for ohio weather.

Any ideas?

WOOOOOO! Starfish just got in......

Sorry..

Okay.

What type of soil do you have....Sand/Silt/Clay?

Drainage? Poor or Good? (is the site dry or wet?)

Do you want trees, shrubs, or perennials?
Most trees and shrubs require less maintainance and work than perennials. (just so you know)

Just give me the info and I'll get back to you with a list.
:)

It's rocky dirt (I don't know much about soil)

It's pretty dry. The spot also gets a lot of sun.

Looking for perennials, I think.

We used to have large pine-like trees there. But they were too bulky, they such out in the yard, so I'm looking for something smaller.

I was also thinking rock or water garden, but I heard that would draw snakes *shudder*

California poppies. They like dry, well drained soil that is a little poor. And they're pretty.

Side note to Starfish: Did I piss you off or somethin'? I had a thread up for you a few days ago, but you didn't reply. That's okay, though. I'll just hack out the plants anyway. :)

Oh, God APRIL!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO! I am not mad at you. I am just RARELY around anymore. I am so busy that I can't keep up here at lit.
I will go find it right after this bit.
:) Sorry.
