I have the CoolPics 520. I went for the 42x zoom over the DSLR. Plus I don't want to bother with changing lenses.

thats a great point & shoot! For out and abouts. I should have one of those too! They are actually better for quick closeups.

I finally got my new, first ever, great camera! Im very excited. Ive always loved photography (Not just the naughty kind) LOL... Ive been reading and studying a lot about photography stuff. I particularly love to photograph flowers (again, not just the naughty kind ), landscapes. However I did purchase some great books and hope to get better at Boudoir and portraiture as well. Waiting for my tripod to come in and then maybe I'll find some new inspiration for some new naughty pics. Now I just need to save some $$ for some more glass.

Maybe I'll start to share some of my other photos here as well if any of you are interested in seeing them. Here are a couple....odds and ends.

These focusing on my neck area. (which is in need of some real nice, soft, succulent kissing and making out. mmmmmmm.....which could eventually lead to the draping of a nice pearl necklace)

These are nice! I think I'm rather terrible with photography. Every once in awhile I'll get a good shot like my AV. Plus having no one to aim the camera severely limits things.

thats a great point & shoot! For out and abouts. I should have one of those too! They are actually better for quick closeups.

I use a Canon SX280 point and shoot. It features a 20X zoom, GPS, and WiFi for around $200.00. It works good on closeups but it is still capable of reaching quite a long way out. I take a lot of nature pics (wildlife, mountains, the St. Lawrence River) with a special fondness for sunsets. There are plenty of opportunities up here and it would be a shame to pass them up. I forgot to mention that it takes great pics of the girls in their bikinis out on the river .

Our crocuses are out but we're still waiting on the daffodils and tulips. Even though you are no more than 100 miles south of us, our flowers are at least a week behind yours. You have a real photographic talent; did you ever consider opening a studio? I'll bet you would get plenty of work.

Those were nice shots. We had some sun this afternoon and I saw the first daffodils of the season. I'll try to post some pics that should complement yours nicely. Wellesley Island is about 40 miles upstream from here; I have a friend who has an Island home that looks right at Wellesley and the 1000 Islands Bridge. We take his boat over to the docks to play golf a couple times per year. What are you using to shoot the flowers with?
