I tend to gush when I get near orgasm, but yeah it can go on for 10 minutes without actually getting to an orgasm. IMO the excessive lubrication can make it more difficult to get to the O because there's not enough friction.

I agree with less friction. I usually wipe off half way through. And it's usually down the middle of my back by the time I orgasm.
