Well, might not quite be a cakewalk but they refuel jets in the air and sent men to the moon without an iPhone. I think they could figure it out pretty quickly if they wanted to.

C-130 crews used to train where I grew up (think they still do). Lots of take offs and landings...they are incredibly cool to watch taking off and landing.
Maybe we could get one of those Jewish space lasers MTG was freaking out about to shoot it down.
Seriously though. our military could have easily shot the balloon down, and it doesn’t merit a risky intercept and retrieval mission by some high altitude aircraft. - Not a “C-130”.

They are cool. I’ve flown on them. I live next to an air base, see them doing touch and goes quite often but the primary aircraft are the the upgraded C-5s, flown on them also.

The only aircraft in our inventory that can fly that high is an SR-71, Maybe KeithD can take a ride in his SR-71 and retrieve it.

It flew completely across Alaska before entering Canada and then the 48. If the Chinese puppet Chairman of the Joint Chiefs wasn't a confessed informer to the Imperial Chinese Military and our beloved President a paid puppet also it would have been shot down. It is not just a ballon (weather !!) but a controlled aircraft. Fuzzy and his friends from China will agree that the Dumbarats are doing all they can to help their belonved Emperor and his Imperial General Staff. (Wonder what General G. Washington would have done to Chief of Staff Infection General Yellow Belly Mac for being a turn coat? And in the so called News Conference the over decorated General didn't know where the spy air ship was as he couldn't give ins position, yet the picture of it was being shown while he was speaking. These guys couldn't even peel a potato on KP right.

S. air apace (over Alaska) and could have been shot down over Alaska wilderness without any danger to the public. I’m guessing there may be one or two still flying for research purposes / as research platforms.
I always thought the SR-71 was the craziest thing ever flown, (well maybe the X-planes if that can be considered flying,) - (And I guess you could include the lunar landing research vehicle in that list as well.) - (Oh, and Jet packs of course.)
