About myself? I'm always so bad at those general questions, so I'll go on and hope the rest of the questions answer the more general one.

I am quite single. Been single for about 8 months now (breaking up right after Christmas SUCKS), but at the moment, I don't know that I'm really looking for a significant other.

Five things? 1. I'm a guy. 2. I'm straight 3. I play guitar. 4. My name is Nate, which you can feel free to call me if you'd like. 5. I... have long fingers. Women seem to like hearing that.

Something anyone hardly knows? Hm.. I've slept with more "friends with benefits" than I have girlfriends. Which was an amazing thing for me to realize.

I don't have a tattoo yet, but I want one. Either on my shoulder, or my ankle. If I can find a good picture of what I want, I'll tack it onto this post.

I don't remember how I found Lit.. it's been a long time ago. It was only Sept. or thereabouts that I found the boards here, and only, well, now that I really start posting on them.

I used to be shy when I was little, but I shed that in high school. I would say I'm more outgoing on-line or on the phone than in person, but one-on-one or in a small group, I'm really outgoing. At the same time... I'm pretty open with just about anything, and you can't ask a question that will embarass me.

My favorite color is blue. Or a reall dark green.

Hobbies... I play guitar and sing (although I don't do either greatly), I write, read a lot, watch the news like it's an addiction, and also do some role playing in my free time. Also, I listen to a LOT of music. And a lot of different styles.

Hm.. never written a personal ad before.

Single white male seeks single female for random whatever-the-hell-comes-to-our-minds. Hobbies include playing guitar, writing, reading, stargazing, running... just about anything that will keep my feet on the ground, anyway. (heh.. that's only four lines.. how bad am I?! *L*) Alright.. let's move on, before that just gets worse...

My worst bad habit would probably be... my sarcasm. It's good and funny sometimes, and other times it offends people, which generally isn't a good thing.

A nice thing about myself... probably my best quality is that I'm easy to talk to, and generally give good advice. A girl I know calls me the Relationship Advice God.

I'm not really LOOKING for someone.. I generally try to stay away from looking, because things seem to work out better that way. The biggest things I look for in a woman are a good sense of humor, able to hold an intelligent conversation, someone that won't agree with one of my views just because they're one of my views, is passionate about what she believes in, and an overall nice person. And hey, if she's good in bed.. bonus!

Probably the thing that irritates me most in life are stupid people. People that think they know everything when it's really just their opinion still also fall into that area. Stupid people is about the biggest test of my patience.

Things not working right pisses me off. Like a car or computer or... just anything that is supposed to work, and doesn't. Urg!

Okay.. I have four cats, actually. Tiger, the older one, then the three kittens... CoCo (she's black, with orange areas), Callie (a Calico... go figure), and Colombus.. a fat tiger cat.

Ohhh... heh. My personality. I'd say I'm outgoing, with a good sense of humor, but I can be serious if need be. I'm also really observant, but I almost never let on as to just how much I've noticed... good to hold some things back. I'm also a hopeless romantic, which can be a good or bad thing, depending...

My dream car... hm... I really like those little sporty BMWs you see running around, but I have no idea what they are. I'd love to have one of those, though.

Funniest thing.. probably didn't happen to me, but a friend of mine.. we were all at this college, and she went to go to the bathroom, and without looking walked into the men's room. The way it was designed, she couldn't tell just by walking in and going to the first stall that it was the men's room, and no one saw her walking in.. but I turned around in time to see the men's room door closing, and no one else was around us, so I put two-and-two together... she wondered why the hell I was walking into the girls room when I said her name, but when I told her.. ah.. I was sitting on the floor laughing.

I love just sitting around with my friends, talking and just hanging out together.. they can make me laugh better than anything else.

I don't actually smoke, drink, or do drugs. Shocker, I know. Heh.

If I'm down or pissed off or whatever, I'll play guitar if I'm alone (or with my friend that plays.. I love playing guitar with him), or put on some good music, maybe go running...

Best advice was probably... always work hard, on everything.

I don't mind the personal questions.. like I said.. you can't ask anything that will embarass me.

Great kissing, and a woman that isn't afraid to take the lead sometimes are great turn-ons. Also, a woman that is vocal... good stuff.

Turn-offs... mostly, really quiet women, bad kissers, and people that generally get on my nerves.

I'm a member of a few Dave Matthews Band boards.. although I go there more for the non-DMB stuff than anything else.. and a role-play board that I go to.

It is currently 7:24 where I am.

I would love to go to the art museum for a date. But make it an all-day date, so we could go across the river and grab lunch, then go to the art museum... or maybe go to the museum, then a picnic in Forrest Park.. spend some time in University City, looking at all the different shops around there and such.. dinner at a nice Italian place, and then maybe one of the boats that cruises the Mississippi River as kind of a night cap.

Never been on a blind date, actually. Wouldn't be opposed to it, though.

I don't actually have a "type," aside from a good personality and good sense of humor. If you were to line up the girls I've dated, and it'd be even worse if you tossed in the girls I've slept with but not dated, it'd look like a history of a couple of different guys, probably.

My ideal date would probably be something along the lines of what I listed above.. just need a lovely lady to have it with.

First attraction is one of four things: Her laugh, her hair, her smile, or her eyes.

Fantasies... there's the obvious, two women... I'd love to be with an older woman sometime.. I think it would be interesting to be blindfolded or complete darkness or something, and sleep with someone but have no idea who she is. Never see her, never have a conversation with her, nothing... no name to call out but God's. (and like I said... ask anything! I'll answer it. )

I don't honestly know that I have any real fetishes... maybe I'll discover some later.

I would probably change... my height. I'm 5'10" currently, but I wouldn't mind being a little taller.

I want to get married, eventually, have a nice house, a few kids.. the typical American dream, I suppose. Most of all, when people think of me after I'm gone, I want them to think, "He was a nice guy."

I just want to be successful... becoming a very famous lawyer wouldn't be a horrible thing, though. Heh.

I like my quick wit, and my mind... I think I can be really thoughtful. At the same time, I hate my mind at times because it won't turn off.

I'd like to be married 10 years from now, and at least have one child... be slowly settling down into the rest of my life. And be able to look back on the past 10 years and think that I've had a lot of fun.

I think personality is more important.. every girl I've dated has been cute to begin with, and just... utterly beautiful after I got to know her. Personality can make or break someone.

It was her choice. But, looking back, it was best... she was far too negative for me. We wouldn't have worked out in the end anyway.

Communication is KEY (you can't be the Relationship Advice God without knowing that ). That was one thing about my last relationship.. especially when it came to sex, we communicated wonderfully. I can tell if the communication is bad, and it drives me up a wall because I can't read her mind, and I always want to know what she's thinking...

The sexiest.. hm. Once, I took a whole day and told her I was going to worship her. There was massages and lots of sex and lots of kissing and caressing... it ended up being a rather nice day for us both.

The most romantic... I live out in the middle of nowhere, so the stars are awesome out here. You can see almost all of them. So one night, I took a blanket out a ways even from the small little town I live in, and we made love on the blanket under millions of stars. It was oh so good.

The kindest thing I've ever done... hm... I don't really know. I've done some volunteering in various places... getting food for people when I lived out in California, doing some work at a nursing home out here.. I've played guitar a few times at a nursing home for the residence... things like that, I guess.

Favorite candy is... a place called See's Candies in California makes the BEST suckers. The things are amazing. Worth every penny you pay for them.

I think I'm generally an honest person. I don't think anyone is always honest, but... for the most part, I am.

The hardest thing I've ever had to tell someone was probably when I told my family that a close friend of the family's had died.

I would probably change the way, and to who I lost my virginity.

Let's see.. I'm 5'10", blonde hair, blue eyes, decent tan, medium build... I think my eyes are my best feature.

I'm probably just proudest of the person I've become so far in life... SO MUCH better off than my older sister.

I'm not really sure what I'd like on my gravestone... the only real thing I've come up with is, "A Nice Guy."

Mostly, I just want to be successful and lead a good life. Of course, given the place I'm posting this on... a lot of sex wouldn't be a bad thing, either.

Honesty is always the best policy with something like that...

A man's role... I guess, anymore, when I think of a "real man," I think of those people that ran into the WTC when it was on fire to get other people out, not worrying out their own life. If that's not a real man, I don't know what is...
