*blinks innocently* What's so special about womens tennis?

Like

Rugby - All blacks!
Football (soccer) - Liverpool!
Cricket
Surfing
Skateboarding

Dislike

Everything else that I didn't like

:nana:

I pretty much am game to watch any sports but enjoy the most: boxing, basketball, soccer, hockey - any level of play.

Only sports I don't care for: golf, car racing, motorcycle racing

Definitely an athlete at heart but unfortunately the body didn't cooperate. ;)

(In no particular order)

Like to Watch:
figure skating
ice hockey
gymnastics

Don't Like to Watch:
baseball
basketball
football
soccer
tennis
volleyball
Nascar/any other type of racing
golf
any other sports

As far as playing ... i could enjoy/have enjoyed actually participating in skating (ice or roller), hockey, gymnastics, soccer, volleyball, racing and/or tennis but not, golf, football, basketball, baseball. i'm not much interested in being a spectator ... i'd much rather be a part of the action.

I don't watch any sports on a regular basis. I will watch some of the Olympics and usually the Super Bowl. I do like to watch triathlons. Those are always so intense.

Like:

Six Nation Cup Soccer (not World Cup, oddly enough)
Six Nation Cup Rugby
Canadian Football
Snooker
Curling - Man, nothing beats curling
Cricket (It's great for a laugh)

Indifferent:

Baseball
Australian Football
Formula 1 (I'd rather play a simulator than watch it.)
Hockey (Like Formula 1, I liked playing the games. Might be considering in purchasing an NHL game or something.)
Golf

Dislike:

American Football (can't stand it. It's like Canadian Football except a lot slower and more tedious to watch.)
Nascar
Horse Racing
Poker
Tennis
Badminton

Like:
Baseball
Golf(sometimes)
Football (as in UK version)
Tennis
occasionally Rugby
Strongman Competition

Don't:
Basketball
Football
Hockey
Volleyball
Soccer (it's not the same)
etc...

Like to watch
Rugby - I'm from NZ, we absorb it in our mother's milk ;)

Rugby League - It's big here in Australia, our local team made the semi finals this season, it's the grand final next weekend :)

Cricket - I've enjoyed watching the one day games for the past 15 years, my son got interested when NZ hosted the World Series in 1992 and so I got to understand the rules a bit better. Master though would rather watch grass grow or paint dry :D

Speedway - Starting my third season of going to speedway with Master who is a long time passionate lover of dirt track racing. He used to drive fender benders in the 1980s. He is also a member of the fire crew at Parramatta City Raceway.

Netball - Especially games between Australia and New Zealand, for a no contact sport it can get pretty vicious sometimes

Gymnastics
Ice Dancing
Athletics
Swimming
some Tennis

Don't like to watch
Yachting - Yawn, even when NZ was defending the America's Cup I just couldn't be bothered

Lawn Bowls - Another yawn

Golf - Ho hum

Motor sport on anything other than dirt, though I don't mind motorbikes

Australian Rules Football - even though Sydney just won the premiership. The games go on for ages and I don't understand the rules (but the players wear these little short shorts....... )

Rugby - I'm from NZ, we absorb it in our mother's milk

I love the all blacks... shame about carlos spencer though... i'm digging the new haka - not as catchy but I like the meaning. My man - his whole family - rugby and football (not american) guys. Got me into the whole thing. Lucky enough, just last year, my man and his brother went down to NZ to get trained by the All blacks. Ahhh better stop before it all becomes a rant.

I love to watch:
BASEBALL!! (Huge Red Sox fan)
Gynmastics
Ice Skating
Diving

Am trying to learn to watch:
Football

Don't really like to watch anything else in the sporting world.

Oh Yeah, i forgot about hurley! Shame on me! Like that too. And Gaelic football is included in UK football for me, i was just trying to indicate my aversion for large costumed men in tight pants patting each others' butts. Though that could be interesting in other circumstances.

I like watching:

NFL (Canadians actually play football? jk)
Billiards, especially the women.
Cycling.

Pretty much dislike the rest.
