Hi so I’m writing a paper for class on how women can embrace their sexuality by breaking away from their religious/spiritual upbringing through BDSM. If anyone is comfortable please let me know your experiences within your culture/religion, how you are able to create a balance, what parts of your upbringing hinder you from following this lifestyle and what you did to break away from that stigma, and how BDSM brought upon your sexual awakening?

I’m doing it mostly through a Hindu context but all cultures are welcome. Please state what you identify :) Also your help is greatly appreciated.:heart::heart::heart::kiss::):):)

A) Typing in ALL CAPS in a forum is considered shouting.
B) Your first post to the forum is to data-mine?
C) Given that the vast majority of organized religions have treated women as chattel and subservient property for millennia, I fail to see the conflict you're trying to show.

Out of curiosity: Wouldn't it be better to focus on a single religion? Given that ofcourse religions can vary greatly, abrahamic religions aside there are plenty of pagan and gnostic regions which encourage sex, if memory serves even Hinduism has a "sin for salvation"-esque philosophy mixed in somewhere though the proper name escapes me.
