For instance, I give this thread a 2.
Now it is a 2. If someone else subsequently rates it a 4, it will have a 3 rating. To find the thread rating, you simply add all the ratings and divide by the number of people who've rated it.

I might give it a 3. But you have to go with your instinct. Everyone's different. The best thing about the manual GB method of thread rating is that you can go back and edit your vote if the thread improves or takes a dive. But it does make it harder to know what a thread rating is at any point in time, especially if it's a really long thread.st4nton said:thats to hard though.
