Do you squish these little varmits when you find them in your house or do you gently pick them up in kleenex and deposit them back outside???

I know it will make me sound like a complete softy but I'm one who takes them back outside and sets them free.

I try not to kill things if I can help it but I sometimes forget and then it's splat time.

it depends.

anything but butterflies, moths, ladybugs, lightning bugs, or anything i don't mind crawling up my nose in my sleep i let live.

all else dies.

recently, I moved into a new place

and discovered these itty bitty ants have access to my kitchen somehow somewhere. There were hundreds of those boogers everywhere... I went out and bought some ant spray and got serious thrills out of spraying them dead dead dead!! I even did the maniacal laugh and everything... scared myself.

Usually I will put the crickets or the beetles or whatever back outside, but I cannot tolerate roaches. I see one and freak the fuck out.

The other night I was on the porch over at a friend's house and it was nighttime and this huge flying coackroach lands upside down on her porch. I screamed and ran inside. I know that sounds so freakin' girlish, but they simply gross me out so badly I can't even stand the image of them flashing through my brain.

If I think they are a danger to my kids...ie, they can bite, poison, etc they are very, extremely..not coming back...kind of dead.

I have a daughter who is alergic to bees...rather smash the poor bee than lose my daughter *nods*

But...it they are harmless I will open a window or shoo them out the door, etc.

Funny thing is I never could squash a bug no matter how creepy until a spider decided to land next to my, then, six month old daugher (she is now 15).

After that I looked at is as either them or the kids...

eeewwww bugs!

I really can do without them.
If my cats don't play with them to death, I'm usually there with something to kill it.
Our main problem in the house is scorpions though (in basement). We try to get them before they get us, or the cats. We do have the house exterminated every year, so basicly, when they get in, they are dead in no time. Now ants on the other hand....dead the min i see them!!!

OH...we did have a millipede in our bed not to long ago. Freaked us out bad. When my husband went to get something to grab it with....that sucker ran like it was on fire. We still haven't found it to this day...LMAO.

Bugs = dead as a door nail.

I even spray the house to try to make sure they die before I see them.
