White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday attempted to argue that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was even worse than Adolf Hitler, because the German dictator “didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons.”

The Nazis gassed millions of Jews in concentration camps.

While briefing reporters on whether U.S. relations with Syrian ally Russia will change in the wake of the Syrian regime unleashing chemical weapons last week, Spicer tried to compare President Bashar al-Assad to Hitler.

“We didn’t use chemical weapons in World War II. You know, you had someone as despicable as Hitler who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons,” Spicer said. “So you have to, if you’re Russia, ask yourself: ‘Is this a country that you, and a regime, that you want to align yourself with?’”

When a reporter asked him to clarify his remarks, Spicer responded: “He was not using gas on his own people in the same way that Assad is doing,” adding that Hitler “brought them into the Holocaust centers,” apparently referring to the gas chambers.

I read this myself. It's ridiculous. He's distorting the facts (obviously) and eluding the fact that Trump, like Hitler, is trying to push a race of people out of his vision.

The last press secretary lied every time he got up and spoke. You can understand a -I believe the Democrats call it - misspoke or slip of the tongue. But if it was an outright attempt at untruth than yes he should be put on the carpet.

I believe he meant on the battle field, still he knows the type of audience he has in front of him and he should be careful of his words and make sure to use small ones and to be quite clear in his meaning. He'll learn.

While Spicer was rather maladroit, in a written clarification, Spicer said he was in no way "trying to lessen the horrendous nature of the Holocaust, however, I was trying to draw a contrast of the tactic of using airplanes to drop chemical weapons on innocent people."

We all know that Obama and his press secretary lied to the press and people many times on purpose and not just make misspoke. But no matter what party or administration they belong to they are suppose to be correct and honest and be wary of saying anything that could be misunderstood or taken wrong. We have plenty of examples lately of Democrats as well as Republicans opening their mouths and nothing but hot air coming out.

This fool and all the dictators that we have in the last eight years been allowing to run lose are just as bad as Stalin and Hitler and Mao. You can't rank murders. They are all the same no matter how they commit their crime.

Let's get to the real matter. What to do with him and the others who have overrun the world in the last decade. Russia and China see us as weak and they take advantage of weak leaders to increase their imperialist designs on the world. And in addition to them we have people like Soros who are just as evil. It is up to this country to be strong and let these Caesars know they can't have their way anymore.

If the people on here put as much effort into forcing their representatives in Washington to get a back bone and work for us and not their own petty power and pocket books we can make a difference in returning people who have been forced from their homeland to return and rule themselves. Bringing down or keeping dictators that we have been kissing ass to for so many years within control.

Watch a station from Japan or Europe and be surprised that the world is round and there is a lot happening out there than you never hear about on the Joseph Goebbels networks. There was a huge fire in the Midwest that wasn't covered and there was a gas disaster in California that was never covered by the main media. If you don't want news and desire to be lied to watch the media. Even Yahoo is censored and full of B. S.

And not attended by Trump who was (miraculously) upstairs in the White House. Obama, that supposed Muslim, attended all eight Seder dinners given in the White House during his term. As I understanding Ivanka and her husband didn't attend the dinner either. Maybe Jared was busy trying on his new set of emperor's robes.

President Trump says he has created 600,000 jobs so far. It's a false statement.

"We've created over 600,000 jobs already over a very short period of time and it's going to really start catching on now," Trump said Tuesday at the White House, flanked by his top advisers and the CEOs who are members of his Business Advisory Council.

He repeated the statement later at a press conference: "Already we've created more than almost [sic] 600,000 jobs."

Official government data does not back up that claim.

According to CNNMoney's Trump Jobs Tracker, 317,000 jobs have been created since Trump took office. The president is trying to take credit for nearly double that number of jobs.

The ultimate authority on how many jobs are created (or lost) each month is the US Labor Department. CNNMoney's 317,000 figure includes how many jobs the Labor Department reported were created in February (219,000) and March (98,000).

A White House spokesman said Trump is including all the job added in January as well (216,000). Trump was only in office for 11.5 days that month.

But even if you give him all of the gains for January, that still only brings the tally to 533,000 jobs created so far in 2017.

The math doesn't quite add up to 600,000.
