Hi. Been awhile since I had a thread here on Lit. Kind of took a break from the place. Kind of missed talking to some people and so, thought, what the heck?
So here I am again... saying hi and hoping to find old friends and start new ones.

Talk about anything you want, I love a good conversation.

Yahoo Widgets

Do you use Yahoo Widgets? They are little programs that run on your desktop and stay connected to the internet. The common programs are the weather, calender, newsfeeds, clock and any other information you want. I love them and have the calender, one that is connected to Outlook so I have my appts and things to do on the desktop at all times. The weather and news so I don't miss anything important. Does anyone else use them and if so, which ones do you use?

Ipod or another mp3 player

Ok, do you have an Ipod? If so what and what do you use it for besides music. I have a Zen Jukebox 30 GB. I have some music on there but I plan on filling this puppy up. I have over 2000 CDs and they are all going to be burned to mp3s and on this Zen. I travel some and the radio stations I seem to only fine are Country and altho some of it is ok... I can't stand it. So this way, I will have my own radio station. And if I want to hear Jazz, I got it.... or Classic rock... got it.... or soft rock... got it, and the list goes on.
So do you have an mp3 player and if so, what and what kind of music do you have stored on it?

Trip

Going to head down south to see the family over the holidays. Anybody live in Mobile AL? Plan on being down there for 6 days. Anyone in Nashville? Will be there for a couple of days. What about Chattanooga? Plan on going down thru there and coming up to Nashville.
Anybody in that area? Would love to get to know people as I travel through these areas often.

I have been just fine. Just took a break from posting and being on here all the time. But like any good thing, you come back. Hope you will come here often.

I personify the stay-at-home-mom-and-housewife. Husband has a good career. Kids are growing up and not giving us any trouble (once in a while they break curfew but in the overall scheme of things, that's so minor). So I try to find things that will interest me and help me stay active and engaged with life. But sometimes, I dunno. Seems like there isn't much that really takes hold of me anymore.

I know what you mean about backing away from Lit for spells. I do that, too.

But it's nice to see a familiar face again.

Well, I am a guitarist myself. I only play acoustic guitars. I have 3. 2 6 strings and one 12. Used to sing in clubs YEARS ago....
