Spell Check

Great idea. I nearly always spell check my stuff. It really doesn't take that much effort but it sure does help me out. I still find a way to make mistakes though. I don't see why more people won't bother with a quick spell check which can not only help the spelling but also, at times will catch grammar and punctuation errors depending on how advanced a program is. I have spell check in several of my programs and I love it. Of course I have to teach it the "dirty" words. *L*

Fury :rose:

Someone please tell me if I belong to the not-understandable due to bad spelling people or not. I'll improve if I do, I just don't know. It's been 5 years since I had my last English writing corrected.

you are perfectly understandable :cathappy:

I think that people who really NEED to spellcheck, don't even know it.

If you (like for instance, Chris or me) THINK you need to spellcheck, you do it.

It's the ones who constantly misspell words in things like for instance ahhh thread titles and long posts and just keep going on and on and never even THINK you might have misspelled something...

those folks won't be spellchecking anything, anyway.

And like you KC, I just ignore them. ;-) *bats my eyelashes at you*

Yea yea, I'm copycating you aaaaaaaahahahahaha

I'd be happy if people just remembered which words to use where. Spellcheck won't tell you There Their They're and To Too.

And, everyone, please remember... drop the "e" and add "i-n-g"

= )

My spelling is ok when I write things with a pen, but as weird Harold once said 'It's my fingers that are stupid'

It amuses me that the people here who have english as a second language spell, write & punctuate better than any person who has either British english or American english as a first language (they also use more interesting words).

Ironic but poor spelling annoys me, however proof reading drives me crazy with boredom.
Hence I know I post errors, I see them later and have to edit, edit and edit.

What really annoys me is when Andante points out my spelling errors lol (anyone else can feel free, AA and others used to do it alot  )

Yea but take a look... she used "who" correctly. I really hate when people use that where who should be used.

Also, bitting??? I think it's supposed to be biting... I could be wrong though.

mea culpa mea culpa

I know I am a huge offender of the written word, when I type in a hurry.

I've downloaded the helper and will try to be more vigilant in the future.

This is what I find funny. Once a thread like this is started, everyone immediately assumes they are the "offender" or object being discussed.

LMAO

Everyone BUT the "offender" has posted here.

The "offender" still doesn't get it.

aaaaaaaaahahahahaha

Ya know what really pissed me off? For Nurse's day, all the nurses where I work got a goodie bag... it had a neato nursey t-shirt, bath stuff and

a huge REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUP.

My nurse friend picked up my bag for me (because as you know, I've not been able to work) and

SHE ATE MINE!!!

Can you believe the nerve of that???

I kept asking her if she was just kidding. I found out yesterday when she brought me my goodie bag, that she really wasn't.
