Special Christmas treats

You know, I think one of the best things about the holidays is all the special stuff you get to eat that you don't the rest of the year. I mean, you could make eggnog in June I suppose, but you don't, do you?

I just ate a big hunk of stollen, with the best marzipan filling. That is totally a Christmas treat. As are pfeffernusse, and mince pies. Mmmm. Hey did you know the mince pies at Starbucks are actually really quite good?

Little round cookies that are spicy, covered with powdered sugar. It's a german thing.

one of my faves are these little waffle brandy crisps...basically thin butter cookies with a caramel~brandy coating....

extra brandy please.
