Special Characters in Story Title?

This is an odd, specific question. If anyone's had experience with it, I'd be grateful for an answer!

Can I put a dollar symbol ( $ ) in a story title here on Lit?

I don't recall ever seeing one in a title (not that I would have considered it notable, so I may have forgotten), and when I put the $ symbol into the "Search Story Titles" box, the site bugs out. It gives me an Internal Server Error. Which makes me think it's not possible.

That said, the dollar symbol works when it's in my Drafts folder. I have a drafted story with "$10,000" in the title, and it displays correctly on my dashboard. I just don't want to submit it in case the symbol gets removed upon publication and the "$10,000" gets relegated to just "10,000".

do not trust the draft process for what will be visible on the final product. Rather use 'dollars' if you have to reference the currency.

I found this one by looking for "$1" (w/ quotes and a number), though I think the search stripped out everything but the 1. Still, looks like $ is perfectly valid. It should be, really, it's just an ASCII character like an apostrophe or a quote, and I've seen both plenty.
