Good morning all.

Sorry I missed coffee this morning. I was slightly distracted.
 
Happy Friday evening everyone - hope you're sliding into the weekend with a wee bit of gusto left over.
 
Its been a nice day here, a little cloudy at times but otherwise great temps. Starting the day out in the rain like Dumpling did isn't fun, I've never liked trying to get to work or home in the rain.

It has rained a lot here in the last month. I want June back, it was dry and beautiful

August was dry here, Septembers been dry so far, October's always rainy. I love four real seasons but could do w/o the humidity.

It's Saturday morning and I am getting ready to go in for overtime.
I hope everyone has an excellent Saturday.
 
Morning Azul and the rest of the Spacer types...;) Oreo get to go by the vets office this morning to have her stitches removed, I'm sure she will be friskier when they're gone.

Yep. She didn't like going back to the vet's office and showed some attitude with the open mouth and hissing. The vet tech who's seen Oreo wound up before went for help as Oreo scooted back in her carrier. So while it was just Oreo and I in the exam room I upended the carrier on the exam table to get Oreo out. Then I held her across my chest and right shoulder while talking to her. She behaved perfectly in my arms as the stiches were removed. That really surprised us all.

That's great! Glad she ended up doing so well :) I don't blame her, stitches suck.

Your absolutely right, stitches suck but aside from checking her stitches out the first day home last week Oreo left them alone. I was more concerned about her paws as she spent a lot of time licking them which I was supposed to prevent her from doing. Since she was only licking them I just kept an eye on her. Today the vet tech said her paws looked great so the antibiotic and Oreo being healthy paid off.

If driving is excellent, I had a blast. 500 miles down. Stopped for the night, driving the balance tomorrow.
