Why would that disappoint me?

I figured it would.. I can fake an accent and when I'm really drunk or pissed the hillbilly in me comes out..

I hate to disappoint you KC.. I don't have one.

you cant not have an accent. its not physically possible to have a voice that doesnt sound like its from anywhere. so....where do you sound like your from?

Northern Oklahoma.. I sound very midwestern to most people. I do have some southern words I use alot .. like "fixin' "

Other than that I use alot of "Chris - isms".. and you've run into those already.
My pronunciation and diction are usually very correct and hard to pin down as to where I live.

Of course, having said that.. Jezebell77 thinks I sound like a hillbilly but then again I hear CHi cago in her voice when I've talked to her... and I can understand her but her lazy ears can't understand me...

*shrugs*

Most people don't equate my voice as a one belonging to a "son of the south".

oklahoma is very much an accent to me. then again, from my point of view, the only people that dont have an accent are those from downstate new york

Yeah.. it'd be interesting to hear your accent.. lol
Reign didn't have one that I could detect and she didn't think I did either.

LOL, if Jezebel thinks you sound like a hillbilly, I'd love to know what she'd say about me! :p

I can generally tell where other Alabamians came from, according to their accents. I'm neither technically hillbilly nor low-country. I'm one of those rednecked-out Middle Alabamians, with the country-ass pronunciations of Upper Alabama and the lazy slurring of words together of Lower Alabama. I do my best not to be too obvious about, though. I'm an English major, so I'm super-conscious of it in class.

And it's 10 times worse when I'm mad/tired/drunk. I'm damn near impossible to understand after someone pisses me off after a long night of drinking.

to an untrianed ear, its very new york

to somebody who is good with accents, its new york with an undertone of something else. i was born in the mountains, and started my speech development there before moving to new york where i finihed learning to speak. i prounounce a few letters slightly diferntly as well as some words differently. but like i said, unless your good with accents you wont pick up on it.

Who made it cold in Alabama? Don't they know it's a Southern state for a reason?!

*shivers*

We'll try to beat the pig farmers for you this weekend. I don't know though. It's been since 1982 that we've beat them and the lizards in the same year. But we've got 2 more years (at least) of Moreno ahead and two more from Stafford and a young OL and a young defense. The future is so bright we have to wear shades.

this is pretty funny. Probably only morninggirl will get a kick out of it.

Auburn always comes into Athens in a foul mood. Every other year, they bring 20-30 players and thousands of alumni that The University of Georgia rejected. We have nicer facilities, better academics, prettier women and more money. In fact, we have all the things they want...like literacy, indoor plumbing, jobs, asphalt, and prosperity.

Georgia and Auburn play for the 111th time today. If you add up all the scoring, Georgia leads by 20 1,685-1,665. Last year we broke their heart and ruined their season. This year they might do it to us. It's the only series I know where playing at home has been a disadvantage.

Good luck to the Cocks. I'd love to see Florida lose another.

Woooooooooo, Pig ! Sooie!
Woooooooooo, Pig ! Sooie!
Woooooooooo, Pig ! Sooie!
Razorbacks!!

I guess Croom saved his job today, he's now beaten them AND Bama in the same season.

And water.

Kills me to think about all that water going to Cow College country when we need it so bad here......

My accent is a combination Tn/Al/Ga and that mad/tired/drunk thing also kicks in when i talk to my family....... People that know me from atlanta say they don't even recognise my voice if they hear me talking to my family....
