You must really hate Auburn. I don't even hate Tech that much.

I'm actually pretty mild compared to the people who grew up with them in Alabama. But I do follow the creed....... Avoid the rush, hate Auburn early.

Think about it, the only time Tech is at the same level is when Ga is having a bad year. It'd be like Tn fans hating Vanderbilt......

Bama and Auburn always means something......

I wouldn't put Tech on the same level as Vandy. Tech is ranked at some point every year it seems. Their problem is they can beat teams they shouldn't and lose to teams they should beat.

Did you know that Georgia is #3 in recruiting and Alabama is #4? Both programs are on the rise and we'll probably be meeting in Atlanta in the next 5 years multiple times.

I agree, Tech isn't the same as Vandy, but the situations are the same. Most years Vandy is irrelevant to Tn's season, Tech is irrelevant to UGA.

I really don't pay attention to recruiting.......don't have my inside source since Coach M retired from my school...........

ROOOOOOSTER CROOOOOOOOW!!!!!!! My boys redeemed themselves and Clemson and Florida lost!!! Life is gooood. Clemson was 13th and 5 top ten teams lost. They could have soared in rankings. lol

I'm really proud of SC and KY. I've never seen the East this strong. And the Vols are probably a top 25 team as well. Or will be before it's over. Yeah, since clemson was ranked I was glad they lost.

There could be something in grits that makes us like football. Does Fury eat grits he wonders?

It's funny how some folks only know grits in particular forms. When I moved in with my newish roommates they'd only ever eaten them for breakfast, while my favorite application was baked cheese grits. Just the difference in an East Texas and DFW upbringing.

And on the football note, gig'em Aggies! Whoop!

Nice little treat on Thursday night this week. Undefeated KY at the chicken coop. I like to see KY win before the conference reminds them that they are subs and not Doms.

Rooster crow? LOL, that's just too funny, Snooze.

Congratulations, but I really hope they stumble against KY.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -ÝTwo social fraternities will lose their seats close to the field and new penalties are being imposed after cups were thrown at Georgia players celebrating their overtime victory over Alabama on Sept. 22.

Delta Kappa Epsilon and Theta Chi will be moved farther back into the stands for the next two games at Bryant-Denny Stadium, spokeswoman Cathy Andreen said.

The Office of Judicial Affairs also will begin enforcing new sanctions against students who throw anything at any sporting event on the campus.

Talk about a slap on the wrist. Classless bunch of pussies. They should have no seats for the rest of the season.

The pregame radio show starts here THREE hours before the game. And I usually pass out before the post game show is over.

There is too much value placed on football here. Our high school didn't make the academic standards but no one is too upset about it as long as the football team is in the top 10. But let the football team go 2-8 and heads would roll. Just like on Friday Night Lights the coach would come home to "for sale" signs all over his yard.

On the positive side it might keep some kids in school who would quit otherwise. And if a kid has the chance to play at the next level he has to crack a few books to qualify. In the past there were guys in the NFL who spent 4 years in college and couldn't fucking read.

LOL

WD, taking their seats or moving their seats is meaningless...... but it's all UA will do because it's two fraternities. Even if they took their seats, the DKE's and TC's would just sit in the GDI (GD Independent) student section..... you know the ones who don't come to the games in suits with flasks in their pockets......

Why didn't the high school make standards??? Which subgroup tripped them up? If it's like here, most likely it was either Special ed or English Language Learners. SOOOOO, the high school failed because kids who already have a diagnosed learning disability OR don't speak English didn't pass the test......

That will be the case at my school this year. We have at least 8 kids with IQs under 60 who are still expected to pass the state assessments.

It depends on what the limit is for subgroup size in your state. Ga counts subgroups if there is 45 students, so for most elementary schools the subgroups aren't an issue. It's the middle and high schools that have enough special ed or ELL students to have to count them.

We have well over 45 ESE kiddos at my school. They count. They counted last year too.

Oh Dear God, Thank you

Ren Fest attendance on Celtic Day: Inexpensive, but fun by far.

Explaining the medieval torture devices in the haunted castle display to a bonnie young lass who thoroughly enjoyed it: Precious beyond words.

Watching the University of Florida get butt fucked on National TV for the second straight week, and USC bend over for the PAC-10 cellar dweller: End of a perfect day.
