There are a few soups that I think deserve crackers and aren't much good without.

Chicken Noodle
Tomato (tonight's dinner)
Split Pea

I like crackers with cream soups, but that includes tomato. I like it made with milk, not water

Hmm..interesting. I've never had tomato soup made with milk. I'm a big fan of the campbells tomato and it's only 2 points per serving! Yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would rather have a nice piece of french bread with my soup.

Especially with clam chowder.:)

and dont forget wedding soup and vegetable soup....both great with crackers:)

Oooohhhh Yum! There is this great place at the coast here that makes the best (in my humble opinion) clam chowder and serves it with garlic cheese bread. I haven't had that in over a year...I think it's time for a trip to the beach...of course I've been saying this for several weeks now. Wanna come?

Mmmm...

Definately a cream soup.
NE Clam Chowder
Any Bisque soup.

I'm hungry.

I haven't had any good clam chowder in ages, and I love the beach.

YAH!!! :D The art association of the coast has also been hiding beautiful glass globes along the beach and if you find them, you can keep them. Soooo...after lunch, I say we walk off the clam chowder and garlic cheese bread.

That sounds great!:)

Here in South Carolina, all we get at the beach are the Canadian snow birds and some spring breakers.

I'm always up for a walk along the beach.:D

When in doubt, cook with dairy fat & serve with wine:) Yes, Campbells mentions milk on the label, as I recall.

What is wedding soup?

And speaking of dreaming it's time for me to get to bed.
The gym will be calling awful early tomorrow.:(

Maybe I will see you in my dreams.;)

I put crackers in all soups except French onion. Hmmmm, good!

I eat crackers with my soup. However, I don't put crackers into my soup, and I don't mean dipping/dunking, I mean crumbling them up and putting them in the bowl and then eating the soup that way :::shudder:::

Soups are delicious

I enjoy having crackers with my soups.

My favorite soup would be creamy potato soup with chives and tiny bits of bacon. :)

Mmmmmm .....

I like oyster crackers. They stay crisper longer when in the soup. Popcorn is really good in tomato soup, too.

Wedding soup is a tradition served at Italian weddings, maybe other nationalities too, but I've only seen it at Italian weddings. Being Italian, I've made it many times.

Basically it is a chicken broth, usually with very small noodles, pastina. Added to that is little dime size meatballs and very finely chopped spinach and lots of Parmesan cheese. Sometimes they add raw eggs when the soup is done, as in Egg Drop Soup.

French Onion Soup, Clam Chowder Soup Cream of Brocolli Soup and thank you Aphrodisiac, Potatoe Soup are some of my favorites! I haven't had that in ages.

Very rarely will I have crackers with soup. If I do, I'll eat a couple before I even start eating the soup. Can't take away the taste of the soup!!

Mmmm Good

:)

I love Manhattan Clam Chowder with oyster crackers!
