AOL couldn't be bothered to make it easy for me to reconnect so I told 'em to get lost.

I should think there are other ways of getting on-line in the meantime.....try your local library - or a Barnes & Noble -- use their internet service..although I am not sure if you need a credit card...but go onto whatever internet address you used - even if it is to check your mail for a bit....and post every so often!

Status report

I have just finished negotiations with a Canadian ISP.

As soon as arrangments are made for transferring my fee to them I'll be back on line.

In the mean time, I've sat my butt in an internet cafe. I couldn't stand being away too long.

I just have to remember to turn off AVs. I think the collective age of the other people surfing hereis less than my own age.
