Songs to fit personalities

Hmmmm, I really liked this question and it actually got me thinking. Billy Joel's "I Go To Extremes".

The words "Either I'm wrong or I'm perfectly right every time Sometimes I lie awake night after night Coming apart at the seams Eager to please, ready to fight Why do I go to extremes?" is the perfect description of me.

My Signature Song ...

Anyone ever hear of Helen Reddy's ....

"I Am Woman", Hear Me ROAR!?

Um ... that would be me .... :)
xxxooo

I love Candy ...

Well ... when I listen to Bruce Springsteen's "Candy's Room", I feel like he wrote the lyrics for me ..

In Candy's room there are pictures of her heroes on the wall
but to get to Candy's room you gotta walk the darkness of Candy's hall
Strangers from the city call my baby's number and they bring her toys
When I come knocking she smiles pretty she knows I wanna be Candy's boy
There's a sadness hidden in that pretty face
A sadness all her own from which no man can keep Candy safe
_______________
I know I already said this on another thread a while ago.

Songs that describe me... I would have to say "Scream" from the Misfits, or "The Green Man" from Type-O-Negative.
I am sure most of my friends would say that "Da-Da-Da" song would fit me...hehe

That's OK I didn't see it, and I'm glad to know that about you 'Bella. If I'm boring anyone, go read something else.

Hey...I posted this last night!

What happened to it?

OK here goes again....

For the sexy Isabella GnR's "Pretty Tied Up" cause she is pretty when she is tied up...and when she ain't too!

For Kitten Eyes...."Cat Scratch Fever*

*thinking I better be careful around kitty, cats play with laces and kitties have claws, SHARP claws*

Hey bob do you have to take every dare???? ;)

I love the Motor City Madman!

Don't worry, bunny boy, some kitties play nice.

You shook me all night long

you know Thumper, for one who claims he is pretty vain, that is a really sweet thing you did there .. instead of picking a song bout you, you picked songs for others ... i love that :)

well it goes without saying yours is White Rabbit ... but if i had to pick one from me to you it would be "You shook me" .... ;)

and Kitten Eyes dear ... well it's
What's New Pussy Cat
"... you with those pussy cat eyes"
____________
*snooping through my cupboard, looking for catnip*

Oh dear, where are my manners?

Dear sweet Isabella, Skid Row - "Sweet Little Sister"

and Thumper - Joan Jett's remake of "Tush"

Vocally perfect

To go in a slightly diferent direction, do some songs seem to be mated perfectly to the artist? Patsy Cline singing "After Midnight", Tennessee Earnie Ford and "'Ole Man River", Ringo Starr and "The No! No! No! No! Song", and of course Kate Smith singing "God Bless America!" are some examples of what I mean, I know that you know others.

I Fall to Pieces ....

.... whenever I hear Patsy ... Sam .. <hugs>

Other songs that are a perfect match vocally? hmmmmm ...

Hound Dog by Elvis Presley
Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin
____________
I'm crazy
Crazy for feeling ..
~Patsy Cline~

These all seem about right, ecxcept for KillerMuffin. When ever I think of her I think of "Hit Me With Your Best Shot". You guys know each other better than I do, what songs would you attach to our fellow inmates her at lit?

Pat Benatar is PERFECT for our resident murdering muffin!

Hi Shila!

"I heard a man saying something, the captains say they pay you well and they say the point demons guard is an ocean grave for all who brave. Was it you that said...how long?"

I heard a man saying something, the captains say they pay you well and they say they need sailing men to show the way and lead today. Was it you that said... How long?

They say the sea turns so dark that you know it's time to see the signs. And they say the point demons guard is an ocean grave for all the brave... Was it you that said, how long?

Your father... he asys he needs you
Your mother... she says she loves you
Your brothers... they echo your words
How far... to the point of know return...

Today i found a message floating
In the sea from you to me
You know that when you can see it
You cried with fear
The point was near
Was it you that said... How long?

and then there's The Wall, by Kansas, and Play the Game Tonight, and Perfect Lover.

You think that something's happening
And it's bigger than your life
But it's only what you're hearing

Can you still remember
When the morning light has come
Will the songs be playing over... and over...
'Till you do it all over again

Play, play, the game tonight
Can you tell me if it's wrong or right
Is it worth the time
Is it worth the price
You see yourself in the white spotlight
Then play the game tonight

And when the curtains open
To the roaring of the crowd
You will feel it all around you
Then it finally happens
And it all comes true for you
And the songs are playing over... and over...
Till you do it all over again

Play, Play the game tonight
Can you tell me if it's wrong or right
Is it worth the time
Is it worth the price
Do you see yourself in the bright light
Play, play the game tonight
Can you tell me if it's wrong or right
Is it worth the time is it worth the price
Do you see yourself in the white spotlight

And Stranger by Starship. I can't find the lyrics for it.

no doubt about it..."Against the Wind", Bob Seeger

"wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then"

totally me

Well, I just found the song that is me. I had forgotten about it during the Navy.

High Road Easy by Sass Jordan (off of Rats)

Got a pocket full of power, got a handle on control
Take a better man than you babe, rectify the damage to my soul
Cause you took me down so easy, got the devil in your veins
I may remember what was good, but I won't forget the pain

Take the high road easy when your face begin to crack
Take the high road easy cause you won't be comin back
Take the high road easy when your steel begin to rust
Take the high road easy and your bones'll turn to dust

The music is kick ass too.

Well it woulda been Bitch, but since that is taken....

:p
