*shrug* I don't mind the politics, but it would be better if people didn't talk past each other in political threads, as they're wont to do.

The armpit thing eludes me. But I can tell you there is a fetish for everything.

I wonder is it really boredom or overload, or maybe getting jaded.

Remember the first time you saw porn? It was hot and sexy and gave you that naughty thrill of doing something you shouldn't?

before the net "first time" porn experiences were usually finding your old man's copy of hustler or maybe a dirty movie your big brother or sister had hiding somewhere.

Now porn is everywhere and free! You get to the point it does lose its thrill and I think that's where people start developing more fetishes, to try to find something different.

In my case I know that to be true because I watch porn in "cycles" for awhile a certain type of video will do it for me, but then I need to move on to something else.

And you know you have seen more than your fair share of nudity when it starts to become more of a turn on seeing a woman partially dressed than flat out naked (back when I was 14 a flat out naked woman was like "holy shit!")

Course on the personals forums, particularly the pic am pic threads there are still guys on there that act like they have never seen them before

But my money is on the average person in those forums would not hook up and are drawn here by the safety of the internet. You can talk dirty and flirt all you want and only an idiot gets caught by their SO.

when it's wall to wall bitching in the political threads, many of us find that boring. the show your tits/arse/balls threads were not intended as 'porn' - and i'm a little surprised they might be seen as such. they were a response to break up the more tedious nature of some of the threads here with some light-hearted posting that nodded in the direction of erotica but were more (on my part, at least) about bringing posters together.

and guess what? reading the posts on the boob thread is amusing for most of us. it's a feel-good thread and not taking itself seriously! if it's not your cup of tea, fine - but it has its place just as much as a political whinge-fest has. and probably more popular.
