Bush is finding it difficult to find something new to tell us...

Now is the time when we find out who is truly behind this mission. When it gets messy, nasty, and drawn-out.

Amazing that the world is so dependent on instant gratification that 8 days is now considered a long conflict.

If you feel so strongly about it why don't you volenteer for the military? I keep hearing all these people saying we should take action but no one is willing to accept the resposibilities. You all have the prividledges

It's not the non-action I'm posting about. It's the non-forward movement.

I heard Bush's radio address and he is definitely struggling to find something new to say.

He, like many people, prefer things to be over and done with as quickly as possible. The longer it goes on the sillier he looks...

:)

Peepee, you can drop out of the coalition any time you want, I think we will survive without you.

We won't even tease you or accuse you of being soft on terrorism. Honest.

Just wait

Just wait a bit.

We Americans are too fucking impatient.

I just wish W. would learn to stop talking while he's ahead. Let his "mouthpiece" do the breifings and get on with the rest of America's business.

Nogard,
p_p_man won't join, but if you know someone to pull the strings, I know a 50 year old felon who will.

No shit, folks.

(Of course "he" can say that, Martha. "He" knows no one can.)
[Shut up, just fuckin' SHUT UP!!!]

How many "I hate Bush" threads are you going to start, eh?

I criticise him.
I dislike him.
I don't like the way he walks.
I don't like the way he talks.
I don't like his psychological profile.
I don't like the way he says things when his brain's not in gear.
I don't like what he did to the Kyoto Accord.
I don't like him shouting his mouth off about MDS.
I don't like the way he got elected.
I don't like his phraseology.
I don't like the way he bought votes by offering a tax refund.
I don't like his bluster.
I don't like the way he had to be shown what the world is like.
I don't think he deserves to be President.

But hate him...Naah!

Not liking the way he walks and talks is like saying you don't like the color of his hair. Sounds like a five-year-old talking.

You don't know his psychological profile. Unless I completely missed it, you aren't a pscyhologist or psychiatrist qualified to make those determinations. And even then, it would take an in-depth interview and testing for valid, reliable results.

We could say we don't like what you say when your brain is IN gear.

Nobody likes the debacle the election became. But it happened, it's over, deal with it and move on. We have and we were the ones involved.

Phraseology - ten cent word for the way he talks - moved up to a 6 year-old with that one.

Taxes and tax cuts are always an issue in any election. Proposing tax policies that people like is no different than proposing new environmental policies. It's not vote buying, it's called politics. Laying out your platform and trying to get voters to agree with you and vote.

Bluster - damn, back to five-year-old status.

Your perception of the world is not everyone's perception of the world. And despite what you may think, I highly doubt the things you believe he has been shown about the world would even be in the top 100 of the things we Americans have learned in the past month.

It doesn't matter if you think he deserves to be President. There were quite a few of us who voted for him and our votes counted. With the latest opinion polls, even 90% of Democrats think he's doing a good job. Guess that means they agree that he deserves to be President.

Now, I'm going to go back to giving real 5 year-olds grades. (Yours would be an N by the way.)

Many of us have accepted the "resposibilities." And we understand what sacrifices have been made for our "prividledges."

Okay, so "hate" is too strong a word... I feel the same way you do on several points you have listed and I've never been a Bush supporter, papa or this one.

But cripes, we get your point. It just seems your sentiment pours over into every thread, either that or I need to read a few more threads you post on (which could very well be why I see it that way).

:)

Yeah I suppose it looks that way. But all political threads started by other people or myself have to involve politicians. You can't have one without the other.

I could just as heavily criticise our own lot over here but not many people would know who I was talking about. Which is a failing I suppose of the American Education system in teaching the young very little about foreign affairs...ahem...sorry almost got carried away there...

For instance as pabloback mentioned on another thread tonight, the day after the terrorist attack on New York a senior UK Civil Servant sent an e-mail to all her staff saying "Now is a good time to release any bad news the Government wants buried", meaning it would be hidden in the much larger bad news coming in from America.

Last week's headlines here were that 1 in 4 children in the UK are living below the poverty line and are in a worse postion than kids living in Turkey.

But neither of those would mean much on Literotica unless long explanations about each subject are also given.

I do write about other things...at the moment it's cheesecake on one thread and about Tiggs scaring me on another oh and I've received one IM and sent 2 out. So it's been a busy night.

But that why I like this site.

Its diversity, quality of the posts and the speed with which things happen. No waiting days for a reply to something you've written...

Instead, you heavily criticize our lot and you don't know what you are talking about.

You have an open invitation. If you think you can do a better job, my classroom door is open. Have at it. I'll relax at my desk and watch. I might actually find out what the room looks like from that vantage point.
