Hi, I want to be able to record my video chats with my family and friends. Just so that I have something to watch when I'm feeling down. Does anyone have any idea of the best way to do this. I'm not that great with programs/apps. I'll be running windows 7 and I need something even a dummie like me could use.

Thanks in advance.

Just had a quick look on the skype (if you are using skype) website, there are two that they reccomend.

Evaer or Supertintin. They both cost money $20, and $30 respectively, but they both seem to have free trials that you might want to have a look at.

@Filliphy Thank you for the help, I am going to give them a try and see how they go.

Video chats huh.... I bet I know what kind of chats you're really recording.
@Rainshine What do you think I am, some sort of pervert? I live 8ooo miles away from my family and get to see them for 3 weeks of the year:(..............................But if it works with skype it should also work with yahoo, I'll let you know how that goes when I get the chance.;)

I use frapps to record my video games. That might work for yah.
frapps is fairly popular.

If you want free, Windows Media Encoder will do it. I think the last free one was Windows Media Encoder 9, after that MS renamed/reorganized it.
