It has been slow coming out, because that's the way the White House wants it. But information is leaking out about Judge Roberts' decisions and actions.
Here is a beaut:
Ansche Hedgeperth was a 12 year old who was arrested for EATING A FRENCH FRY on the Washington DC metro. She was handcuffed, put in the back of a squad car and held in a lockup for 3 hours. (There was a quality of life crackdown going on in Washington and that apparantly applied to eating a french fry on the metro.)
The conservative Rutherford Institute of Virginia filed suit on her behalf in order to get her record expunged. Judge Roberts refused saying that arresting Anche Hedgepert advanced "the legitimate goal of promoting parental awareness and involvement with children who commit delinquent acts" - including it seems eating french fries.
Roberts filed a 'friend of the court' brief on behalf of a person who bombed an abortion clinic.
He and two other judges on the DC Circuit court reinstated military tribunals in Guantanamo - ruling that courts have no authority to review the White House's determination to deny prisoners Geneva Convention protections.
BTW, he definitlely has stated in court that Roe V Wade was wrongly decided.
Oh, well. Ladies, you have probably seen the last of freedom of choice, at least for the foreseeable future. And it looks like Roberts prefers government to individual rights as well.
