The story might have been one of JimBob44's Louisiana stories.

At the beginning of the story, the MC gets out of jail/prison for assaulting his wife's lover. He is picked up by the woman that he had raised as his daughter, but later found out that his wife had cheated on him and the girl was not his biological child. The girl helps him get his life back on track and eventually seduces him. By the end of the story, they're a couple.
