Oh my God-what have I done!!!!
okay, well this is what happens when I post late at night-whew...
First as a responsible mother, wife and chef-
Meat should be eaten thoroughly cooked
Fish should not be eaten raw
Cow's meat should be cooked to an internal temperature of no less than 145 degrees Farenheit
Pork and Poultry should be cooked to 165
The microorganisms that inhabit meat/flesh foods can multiply rapidly and are in their ideal(most dangerous) environment when in a piece of raw meat...cooking can destroy most, but in light of the recent tragedies due to
e coli-not all.
Raw fish can carry high levels of parasites and if not from clean waters can also harbor unacceptable levels of toxins-cooking don't kill the pollutants, just the bugs.
Eating a healthy balanced diet based on less than 30% protein is ideal-protein choices should be plant based as often as possible-but thoroughly cooked lean cuts of flesh foods can be used in moderation.
Now I have done the responsible and good thing- I feel better, don't want to be blamed for endorsing health risks-
did Flamingo Blue post any safety tips regarding salmonella?
On to the more pressing and perverted issue-Vegetarians and Oral Sex
my vegan friend sucks and swallows-she feels that there is no moral quandary(sp) as she feels a moral compulsion to not eat other species...as long as it is her own species that she is ingesting she is ok with it.
It is way too early for this-I wonder if that means cannibalism among vegans is ok?mmmmmmm
