Because social Darwinism was not fully and properly implemented, the United States economy is collapsing.

The poor and unfit are a terrible drag on society, and therefore they should be forced into long hours of backbreaking labor for subsistence-level wages. Furthermore, we should maintain society for the benefit of the rich and not the poor.

A healthy society needs various economic classes all doing their part within the hierarchy of the national organism. Sadly, those in power today are trying to make everyone poor so they can more easily rule over them.

You're dead on right that the country is collapsing though, and its happening in front of our eyes. Its actually stunning to watch.

Mass immigration of third world poor have overrun the country, combined with the breakdown of a middle class work ethic and the two parent family unit, along with the shipment of our manufacturing base overseas due to "free" trade plus a crippling tax burden on those who do produce transfered to irresponsible welfare recipients and a bloated over-paid public sector have all led to a probably irreversible collapse.
