I don't think we've lost anybody who has a chance to win, but you look at who's been in danger and who's been safe, and not everything makes sense. Who is voting for Janelle? Is bellydancing that popular?

I was surprised they kept Lindsay safe at the end and let Amber go. We could lose Lindsay and still have one blonde ballroom girl. Personality does count, though, and Amber came across as a little bit of a bitch with her former partner.

So good to find a place to discuss this show that isn't overrun by teenage girls.

I turned it on just after the opening number started so I didn't know ahead of time who choreographed it. Saw lots of Wade Robeson in the piece but guessed correctly it was a Tyce piece. I liked it a lot.

Amber was quite good last night, but it was too late. The other girls just outshone her in the previous weeks.

Good to see the voters finally recognized the excellence of Chehon and Witney. She and her Utah buddy Lindsay are excellent but they need to keep up the pace with the judges 'cause they're too pretty and sexy for the teenage girl voters. Witney is my favorite since she has the good footwork and hip action of a good ballroom dancer which will translate well to jazz and maybe to hip hop (if she's just too cute for that genre) but still has great lines, extension and strength necessary for contemporary.

I was particularly unimpressed with Audrey this week but I know she's good.

Brandon was the right choice to go but I loved his attitude. He knew he didn't have a prayer to win but was in it for the experience and to have a blast as long as it lasted.

Oh yeah, I can't figure out why Janelle is still in the running either. Endearingly clumsy only goes so far in a dancer.

I know over 200 bellydancers and they're all voting for her, and that's just here in SF Bay Area. There's plenty of other bellydancers in every state plus the doods who think she's hawt.

She's very cute, but so are most of them. Alexa left the first week, and cute was about all she had going for her.

Anyway, Janelle had another rough week. It was really just the two pairs who had Latin dances that got bad notices, and Audrey should have an edge on Janelle based on past work, so I doubt she will make it any further.

Right now, we're all hooked on Pawn Stars and watching the Olympics at quadruple speed as she searches for the equestrian events.

Cyrus has been safe so far, but if she had to keep going with him, there was always that chance he would sink her at some point. "Anchor" is the right word.

They start dancing with the all-stars next week. That helps Eliana more than any of them, I think.
